Excellent place the most beautiful place surrounded by nature and wildlife. Rooms were spectacular.marcin the host was lovely very accommodating we arrived late but he was waiting to greet us
Didn't stay long enough you need 2 days here to really experience everything

The room, en-suite and house were clean
We didn't get the room view we booked
There was no breakfast on offer - we were advised to find a cafe
There were no staff available - it was like staying in an AirB&B
The electric show was weak and difficult to control
The communal lounge was cold and uninviting
The house is beautiful, we were very impressed with the surroundings, views, staff all very welcoming, an overall lovely experience.
Now I don't often write reviews but I had to do one for this hotel and area.
We stayed here for a week for my husbands 60th birthday gift from me. We both loved every second of our stay.
We bought our dog with us. Honestly you would not think this hotel allowed dogs because of how spotless it is.
The host Marcin was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. His knowledge of the local area and places to go and things to see was great. Definitely recommend taking his advice as we would have missed seeing some fantastic views, historic sites and waterfalls if we hadn't.
The room we stayed in was the bluebell room. The bed was so comfortable and the views fantastic.
There was nothing we didn't like!!!!
The photos of this hotel do not do it justice. I don't think anything will you just need to see for yourself.
The only thing I would say is that this hotel is a bit isolated which for us is not a problem and something we look for when we go away. But for anyone who wants to have shops etc within walking distance this may not be for you.
But there was a lovely local pub and cafe which you could walk to. Both had lovely food, amazing views and friendly staff.
Just a beautiful area with lovely people.
A very highly recommended area and hotel to go to.

A wonderful warm welcome from Marcin and his lovely dog to the spa by Loch Goil, nothing was too much trouble for our host. Highly recommended for complete relaxation in a spectacular setting.

The accommodation is located in a quiet, secluded spot with views of the water and the mountains. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. In the evening, we even got to see some seals. Breakfast was fantastic and gave us a great start to the day. Marcin is also very helpful and friendly. We felt very comfortable there and can say that it was our best vacation yet. We highly recommend this place.

Great location to stay for wedding down the road at Carrick castle Estate.
The location of Lochwood House is absolutely stunning. Amazing situation on the banks of Loch Goil. Lots of walks from the House.

My following day was ruined with guest house trying to take payment again from my account, even though I paid well in advance, and when I’ve queried it I have no response

Beautiful property in a stunning location right on the shore of the loch. Marcin, the owner was very welcoming, very knowledgeable and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Very dog friendly.
Access is via a single track road with a few potholes to watch for.
The house is set in a stunning area with amazing views of the loch. The living room and dining room are very nicely decorated and Marcin was welcoming and very helpful in finding places to eat and things to do. We very kindly got upgraded to a bigger room which was greatly appreciated, having the bigger bathroom made such a difference. A really lovely relaxing break, highly recommend.
