smelly and weird

Cons:

Musty mould smell throughout the whole building, even worse in the room. The window wouldn’t stay open and needed to be propped open, would only open a little amount. The tv is so old and they charge $15.95 per OLD MOVIE. The shower taps are the bath taps and you have to bend over to turn them on and as you do you get cold water shot at you. Theres no obvious PowerPoints/usb ports near the bed. No way to control the temperature, no aircon. There’s pillars running right in the middle of the hallways?? Leaving such a tiny space around them to squeeze past and into the rooms? I understand that it’s a heritage building but it’s so so strange 😂. The smell was honestly terrible.

It's the location that saves this place.
Pros:

Location was very good.

Cons:

Bathrooms smelled of urine.
Flooring is really unlevel.
Our room keys stopped working before check out time which was very annoying.
Restaurant not operational.

Great location let down by the tired state of the hotel. Price was low enough to offset.
Pros:

Location was great, bed was comfy enough for our 2x kids, staff were great and friendly, price was much lower than others in the area.

Cons:

Our bed wasn't as comfy as the kid's bed. Air-con rattled at night and couldn't be adjusted. Panel under the bathroom basin was propped on the floor. Car park was super tight and not enough spots if we arrived too late.
