Staying was amazing. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great staying. Food was superb!
The decor was exquisitely beautiful.
I’d recommend the incorporation of a spa or gym so guests could extend the staying and enjoy the hotel premises.

We loved this hotel and were sorry that we could only spend one night there. The room was great, we had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant, and we can't say enough about the staff--they were so helpful and generous with their time. We hope we can come back soon.

The staff was incredible. I have never experinced such great service. We were truly treated like royalty during our stay.

Everything was absolutely amazing except the food. It was so sad because the hotel had all the resources and in a town full of fresh produce. We've been in Ecuador for nearly 3 weeks and this was the worst meal.

This hotel is gorgeous and our stay was lovely. The staff is so friendly and kind. We were greeted with drinks and a warm hand towel at check in, which was much appreciated after a long travel day. We arrived late so chose to order room service and it was delicious! The included breakfast was also fantastic. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Ponchos where the market is located. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Unbelievably beautiful art hotel. The service was impeccable and a three course breakfast was included in our stay. Also included was a plethora of high-quality snacks in the room. I’m a very seasoned traveller and it was one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I’ve stayed at. The price was extremely low for such an experience. I don’t understand how anyone could rate this as less than a perfect stay.

The hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent. My only complaint is the rooms are tiny and we had a room with no windows with zero ventilation. At night the room was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep. I had to open the door to the hallway to get any fresh air in the room and cool it down a little. Besides that, the staff was excellent and helpful. Probably would not stay here again unless I had a room with a window or balcony.

We really enjoyed staying at this boutique luxury hotel. You get so much attention and clothe staff is very helpful and accommodating. The property has such a Union artistic feel, very clean, and cozy.

Everything was wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, the staff was great and the food, especially the little afternoon sweet that appears in your room late in the afternoon, was suberb! Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and the chef is excellent. There was always an amazing sweet treat waiting for me upon my return in the afternoon. I travel for a living and this chef stands out above and beyond.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in an old remodeled colonial building. It has been beautifully modernized and decorated. The restaurant is great and has a varied Ecuadorian menu. Otavalo is a busy city and the hotel is located on a street where the buses run so some amount of noise is unavoidable. You may want to ask for a room not facing the street, towards the back of the hotel.

If you have the opportunity to stay at Hotel Otavalo you absolutely should! This hotel was 10/10 from start to finish. They arranged transfers to and from our hotel before we got there and helped with authentic experiences once we arrived. We were lucky enough to be there over New Years and took part in the lovely celebration they hosted. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Otavalo for the best welcome to Ecuador we could have imagined!!
