Pool (more like an oversized spa without jets) and sauna are very tired and desperate for an upgrade. Bathroom was tiny.

A couple of gripes, but I'd return, especially on the deal given.
Pros:

I liked the room, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The location is fantastic. Even the hair dryer was pretty good (rare in Australia, I find!).

Cons:

Sound insulation. Not only could I hear my neighbour talking on the phone, I could hear the person they were talking to. Luckily this happened at a time that didn't disturb me much, but it could be a big problem. The towels are an excellent size but the room lacks useful racks on which to dry them.

Moving to self service for everything. If you don’t have your room cleaned you get a credit of $10 per day to use on food or beverages. Every time staff had to check with Reception to put any charge on your room so you could claim the credit no one answered the phone.
