It was clean and conveniently located near the CBD
The restaurant was very minimal and very expensive
The hotel location was adequate considering I am a walker, & most sites were walking distance.
An extra charge for checking in early just to change clothes when the room was obviously available on my arrival. Bathroom width a little tight.
I love to come to The Victoria Hotel as I am made to feel at home. I did try to use the auto check-in but it was not working properly and I prefer the staff welcome and assistance. The room was quiet and comfortable. The location is so central in the city. This is all I need for an overnight stay for work in the city.

Room had no outlook and secondary natural light. No capacity to change the temperature in the room. Felt like I paid too much for the room.

Efficient booking in and out
A queen bed with one side against the wall, hence no beside table.. really this should be a single room
The cost and the location, also clean, tidy and comfortable.
The hotel is in an excellent location, great for seeing the sights. Tram stations to Docklands (86) and St Kilda (96) in Bourke Street, which is one street over. Close to shows and a lovely little coffee shop on Swanson Street.
That we had to ask for our room to be made up which on two occasions it wasn't. Asked for room service and there was nothing available, although it is shown as a "service". The fridge was noisy. We also had to buy bottled water as the water in bathroom tasted awful.
Super easy check in/out process, staff were great and the hotel is in a great location! I didn’t access any of the amenities so unable to comment on those.
