Loved the atmosphere and position of the property. Bed really comfy, breakfast delicious. Although the rooms are mainly street facing we were amazed that we did not hear any traffic noise from the road outside.
Only slight negative - wish a shower cap had been provided as the shower was a large fixed head and you couldn’t avoid getting your hair wet!

Beautiful room with large comfortable bed. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean, and great to have a coffee machine and fridge in the room.

The road could be a bit noisy but that is inevitable and can’t be changed!
It was a lovely place in an excellent location. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was very nice. The atmosphere whilst having a drink and a bite to eat in the bar area felt relaxing and people were very friendly and chatty.
The toilet was not fitted to the floor and moved about. Between the bath and the wall it did not look like it had not been cleaned for sometime, to be fair only noticed this when my sponge fell off the side bath. Both lights above the two sinks in the bathroom were flashing on and off. Did pass this information onto a lovely lady when we checked out. It did not affect our stay with you.
The notice about removing the toiletries is a bit harsh.

Cobwebs in window area, dead fly’s on the floor and a badly cracked sink in the bathroom
The Staff was exceptional. The location was fabulous. The hotel was quaint and charming. Parking was convenient. And the food was delicious.
Our room did not have a standing shower, which wasn't horrible, but not ideal. It was a challenge to not get water on the floor after a few pints. And the pints were delicious.
