Good location
Pros:

Great location

Cons:

We stayed there for three nights and they only cleaned our room once. Also housekeeping didn’t do a good job, refilling, coffee, creamer, we had to go ask for them. Also Have to go ask for extra towels on the days they didn’t clean our room. Hotel was generally clean, however because it is dated there was a slight hint of unpleasant smell.
Our flight got there early so they let us check in early which was a big help.

Halifax é muito bonita e vale a pena conhecer!

A localização é muito boa, bem próximo do Water Front. Cafe da manhã bom. Restaurante bom. Chuveiro muito bom.

Very convenient hotel if you want to be close to the water. Exceptional staff throughout the hotel.

Cons:

Bathrooms need a little more attention to detail. Beautiful white fluffy towels but let down by dirty skirting tiles and around toilet bowl.

Pros:

I like the hotel overall, albeit it is quite dated and in need of a major renovation. The bathrooms tile is multicolored from previous patchwork and there are no ventilation fans in them. The toilet in our room required the handle to be held down to flush and the shower button kept releasing randomly flipping back to bath mode. Slow close toilet seats would add an extra touch. The rest of the room could get by without updates until future needs arise.

Great location
Pros:

My stay was 3 nights. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The location is great. Loved the view of the harbor. Easy walk to the waterfront to take in the sights and activities. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a good selection, breakfast buffet was very good.
This my second stay here and would book again.

Can I please keep my bed???????
Pros:

The room was amazing. The view was was great. There was a lovely park outside my window. I left my curtain open at night with my window open. I could hear the outdoors and could see the sky from my bed. I loved my bed so much I didn't want to get out of it. It was difficult having to pry myself from the covers to attend to union business each day. The pillows were so fantastic I would have bought it. Sad I couldn't take it home with me. You really should think about selling those things. The linens were so soft and had such a fresh smell. It was a treat getting in that bed. I actually thought about that bed all day long. I told my friend and she was sad she was unable to get a room at the hotel. I really wish I could have taken my pillow and sheets. Oh I guess I can dream about my next stay and hope that CUPE NS books with the Westin again. Thank you for such a comfortable stay. I haven't had a good night's sleep in a while so this was a welcome treat for me.
