My favorite hotel in Halifax. Super friendly staff, nice pool, good restaurant. Depending on my budget, I sometimes book a room with harbor view. Definitely worth it.

Like the ease of parking , like the lobby area , our room was very good.

Staff were exceptional. I'm on a special diet and all the staff from the Supervisor to the waiter/waitress were superb. They are a credit to the Marriott experience. Well done!

A beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to our friends/family. As I mentioned at checkout - I would appreciate either a bath mat or those non-slip pads in the tub, just to feel safer in the shower. When I raised this issue with the manager I was told it is an option to ask for a bath mat. Perhaps it would be a good idea to advise guests of this option at check in. Other than that, the hotel is wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Another note: we were not aware until checkout that patients of the nearby hospital are eligible for additional perks, including a reduced rate. We were not aware of this option either (we were actually in Halifax for my husband to have surgery at the VG). It might be a good idea to make people aware of this while they are still eligible to take advantage of the offer.

Fantastic hotel, excellent service and attention to the small details. The location is perfect, walking distance to Halifax’s great restaurants. Highly recommend. Shout out to Jack on the front desk and to Glen, the GM.

The room was clean and staff was friendly. I would suggest additional parking for hotel guests or at least notice on where to park as I was not from the area.

Friendly staff and a most comfortable bed. It’s great having a car rental agency in house - especially in the winter. The perfect location. Great food and shops nearby and the harbour view is a bonus!

Valet experience was over and above. Incredibly informed, friendly and took the time to remember my name and to greet me by name every time I came and left the property. Amazing experience. Hopefully he stays in Halifax for a long time.

From a great check-in experience, including a personalised welcome note, Platinum bonus pts, & a complimentary welcome cocktail, being a Marriott Bonvoy seems worthwhile here. Complimentary parking & late checkout for Platinum member perks allowed me to properly enjoy the pool & hot tub, even on a one night stay.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is close to all downtown shops and restaurants with a Superstore right beside it. The atmosphere is incredible. I was greeted by Lee as soon as I got out of my car. I don't think I have ever had such a cheerful greeting while arriving at a hotel. Lee is the best!! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The rooms were super clean. The room rate was on par with most other hotels in the metro area but it's worth it for the location. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel as we were attending an event there. Very nice staff from the moment I arrived. The doorman helped get my bags and opened the doors as it was so windy.
The room was a good size. Two queen beds. Very comfortable. Only one small complementary water for 3 people on reservation. Brought more when requested. Bathroom was small with a very low toilet. Typical of the older hotels. Nice amenities.
Safe wasn’t working and had to be replaced.

Another great stay at The Westin in Halfax. Front desk was quick and efficient, the atmosphere in Seaport Restaurant was vibrant with excellent service. The room was clean and quite, with an amazing view of the Harbour. Checkout was easy and quick. Overall we felt we really got good value during our one night stay.

The staff is second to none for amazing service. It was discussed throughout the conference. Thank you !

The basics were great i.e. facilities and food. The great separator is the virtually unparalleled service that is simply a reflection of wonderful staff with amazing leadership.

Lovely stay, spa onsite is incredible, the beds very comfy and the duvets are cozy & enveloping! Valet definitely worth the bit extra money, especially in winter! Convenient location to walk to restaurants.
