We have stayed at The Lodge before and were so pleased with everything we decided to return. It did not disappoint. We took our minature daschund to stay this time. Lots of hotels claim to be dog friendly but this one definitely is!. Dog bed, treats bowls and lots of loving! Thank you to all.

Bed a little soft.
The bed was comfy, the room was clean, plenty of amenities
It was too noisy. I kept getting woken up throughout the night and from 10pm I got into the room, there was thudding and banging
The receptionist was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and even carried my case to my room, which is very rare nowadays. She seemed genuinely nice, also quite rare in hotel staff nowadays. The waitress at dinner was also excellent - really kind and helpful.
