Happy stay in Auburn Holiday Inn
Pros:

The front desk staff was awesome!! The breakfast buffet was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable.

The location, cleanliness, friendly staff!

Cons:

Breakfast was good but my daughter and husband were disappointed that there was no gravy for the biscuits, otherwise breakfast was good! I thought that I purchased a third breakfast when I booked but was charged for the third breakfast. Additionally, was not made aware that my card was charged an additional $50 incidental fee, which was reduced after 6 days. I sent property an e-mail for clarification and got a satisfactory response. Still gave excellent rating and would definitely stay there again!

Disappointing Stay
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Very little breakfast provided. No coffee. No omelettes and very little available. A power outage had occurred but the guests werVe the ones who had prepaid for something and it wasn't provided. That cost should be born by the business and not the customer. There was no compensation provided.

Very nice place!
Pros:

Just a few years old and feels brand new but with mature landscaping. Pet friendly. Bed was firm and comfortable, with 4 pillows (2 of each type). Blackout curtains were fabulous. We were on the first floor next to the pool, but we couldn't hear the people out there. Breakfast is excellent, with an omelette station! Max's Restaurant (attached) is very nice yet reasonably priced.

Cons:

Breakfast is extra cost, but quite reasonable, about $10 all you can eat. Pet fee was $50, midrange between the $25 some hotels charge and the $75 that Hyatt & Marriott charge. Our room was near the exit where they have a smoking area outside; I swear some smokers draw their last puff, toss their butt, open the door and see how far down the hall they can get before blowing out their smoke. The smell awakened me at 5am!

clean but old. bathroom had modern lighted mirror but shower was from the 90's.
Cons:

The interior of the room was dated and can use a modern update for the price that was charged. i wouldn't mind paying the price if the room decor was updated. this room is big (room#111) but ugly.
