Ein Hotel das vieles gut macht…
Pros:

Das 5 Sterne Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und das merkt man immer wieder. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle Ausflüge. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und das Morgenessen ist ein unglaubliches Angebot an Speisen.

Cons:

Die Liegestühle mit den Polstern beim Pool sind echt schlimm und nicht 5 Sterne würdig. Die sollen ersetzt werden. Die Zimmer sind funktional aber nicht 5 Sterne gerecht.

Cons:

The room ran out of tissues and body wash, I need to call them up for refill. Didn’t wash the used cups and glasses and staff just left them by the sink. TV turned itself on in the middle of the night. Bottled water not replenished when we return in the afternoon. The staff went into our room twice a day for no reasons.

The hotel is run down and dated in general, all the handles on the drawers and cupboards are missing in the room.

The duty manager promised to email back regarding the complaints but never call/ email back. Definitely not worth the money.

Pros:

The location & views were great! The staff very friendly & helpful & a nice big room with lovely balcony!

The rooms felt a bit outdated & plain. Also the bed was on wheels so moved around quite easily.

Cons:

Same sheets 5 nights had 4 rooms plus two other siblings had 2 rooms

The location was great, room was spacious

Cons:

We booked 2 rooms and wasn’t able to check-in to the 2nd room at nearly 4pm. One of the staffs asked us to wait at the lobby and we waited for over 15 mins and they didn’t even tell us how long we can wait. I have to line up again to ask them to ring me when the room is available. I had to follow up a couple more times for the room to become available. The pool was a bit cold to swim in.

A great location in Cairns and nice, comfortable rooms.
Pros:

Room was comfortable and well set up.
Breakfasts were well set up and had a good range of food.
Hotel is very well located in Cairns - close to esplanade and the main area of shops/restaurants etc
