La struttura è bella ma non sarò mai più cliente di Shangri-La.
Pros:

La camera era bella. Avere anche gli accappatoi è un plus. Belle e abbastanza comode le piscine esterne riscaldate... indispensabili in una città che non offre la possibilità di fare un bagno al mare.
Abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorante due volte, entrambe le volte con soddisfazione.

Cons:

L'accoglienza è stata pessima e fosse stato per quello avrei valutato 1 la struttura.

Senza averlo mai comunicato prima, al momento dell'arrivo ci chiedono una cauzione di 600 AUD. Per problemi momentanei con le carte non potevamo versarla al momento (non potevamo risolvere perchè le banche in Italia, dove era notte fonda, erano chiuse) e si sono rifiutati di darci la camera, PAGATA TOTALMENTE E IN ANTICIPO MOLTO TEMPO PRIMA!

L'addetta al check in è stata inqualificabile. Continuava solo a ripetere che non poteva darci la nostra stanza.

ERA SERA e siamo stati più di un ora nella hall non sapendo cosa fare, stavamo pensando di andare in un altro albergo e denunciarli. Trattare in quel modo un cliente che ha già pagato, per giunta in conseguenza di una loro mancata comunicazione è vergognoso... che si debba versare una cauzione non è specificato da nessuna parte.

Solo dopo un ora è arrivato un responsabile molto più disponibile e professionale che ha risolto il problema, proponendo di versare la caparra in contanti in misura ridotta.
Anche il resto del personale è stato gentile e il soggiorno alla fine è stato piacevole ma all'arrivo, di sera, stanchi a causa di un lungo viaggio, ci hanno fatto sentire a disagio e anche nei giorni seguenti siamo stati molto nervosi.
Un saluto particolare a Flavio per la sua accoglienza e disponibilità.

Un altro appunto è da fare all'uso delle piscine. Non c'è nessun addetto al controllo o alla sicurezza così che i clienti sono lasciati liberi di fare quello che vogliono. Aspettatevi bambini (e non solo) che si tuffano di continuo, schiamazzi e persino coccodrilli gonfiabili tipo luna park.

Great Location, Lovely Accommodation and great facilities!
Pros:

Beautiful property in a wonderful location, right next to the boat terminal and lagoon. Lovely pool and hotel facilities; great food and drink. Lots of restaurants along the marina front with lots to choose from with a great restaurant on site,

Cons:

We stayed in an area of the hotel where directly underneath us was a bar / club that played extremely loud music until late into the evening. It didn’t bother us too much but just to be considered as it was not expected from a hotel with a more premium reputation.

Great location!
Pros:

Great location, short stroll to everything and dining at your doorstep. Tour boats, sky diving, kuranda skyrail pick up point were all just over the road. Beds were amazingly comfy. Staff were very helpful from the minute we arrived to helping us upgrade to a better view. Definitely recommend the marina view, sunrises were amazing from here.

Pros:

The friendly happy staff make this place. Always smiling and greeting you warmly.

Cons:

We had an amazing room, but those great rooms were not close to the lifts to get you to the main area. But also a great walk after a huge breakfast.
