The room although overlooking marina had the shower in the bath which was a poor quality shower and nor suitable for us and other people who would find showering in bath as potential dangerous due to getting in and out and slippery surfaces..

Nice but overpriced, probably will stay elsewhere in future.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view of the marina. The hotel itself is in a great location and is walking distance to some of Cairns best venues.

Cons:

The facilities and decor were very dated and tired looking. The hotel definitely needs a face lift and could do with some new carpet, etc. I don’t think the money we paid was worth it and I certainly would not consider this a 5 star hotel.

Cons:

Sorry that the fining area had moved upstairs. The harbour side breakfast and dining area was a great start to the day.

Perfect location
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.
Location was perfect for the boats out to the reef and islands. Lots of choice for restaurants within 5min walk.

Cons:
