Bel emplacement
Pros:

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans cet hôtel.
Nous avons apprécié son emplacement exceptionnel :
Un food court juste en bas de l’hôtel
Un accès direct aux malls
Un plateau de fruits de bienvenue
Nous avons également pris le meilleur petit déjeuner de tout notre séjour. Il y avait moins de choix que dans d’autres hôtels, mais la qualité était bien supérieure.

S'il fallait chipoter et trouver un petit soucis , je pense que ce serait celui ci :

L’accueil et le service de l’équipe du matin différaient selon que nous étions placés à gauche ou à droite de la salle.
À gauche, l’équipe était plus agréable : elle prenait la commande de nos premières boissons chaudes et venait régulièrement débarrasser la table.
Lorsque nous étions placés à droite, c’était totalement différent : aucune prise de commande pour les boissons et un débarrassage des assiettes beaucoup moins fréquent.

Excellent location. The room is nice but need improvement of the drainage system.
Pros:

Excellent location and the room is big. Service is 5-stars.

Cons:

The drainage was blocked that the water at the shower couldn’t run away smoothly and flooded on the floor.

Older hotel with some interior shows age, but great location and M Club
Pros:

I rated this place before and want to add on. The location of course is prime, however the hotel is getting old. The rooms are still alright but the elevators show it the most. Some buttons are not working properly, incl. call buttons. Best for this hotel is the lounge / M Club though. Especiall Mr. Zul always makes my day. He was running the morning shift during my stay and is a very nice, attentive and talkative person. Makes breakfast and the start to the day very nice.
I see the hotel gradually renovates the elevators and also rooms. Hope my next visit I find a lot progress on these already.

A Truly Pleasant Stay

A Truly Pleasant Stay

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is well-maintained, tastefully designed and decorated. We loved the fresh orchids all over the building - such a beautiful touch. It is perfectly located right on Orchard street, where shopping and food choices abound. It is only a few minutes from the subway and a bus stop. Our room had a spectacular view of the city yet still quiet at night. Beddings and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was varied and tasty.

Now… for the real stars of the hotel who made our stay memorable. We would like to thank the following staff:

1. Sarah Lim at the front desk - welcomed us with such genuine warmth. She sent over a welcome platter of fruit. We casually mentioned that is was our 40th wedding anniversary and she sent some treats. We were so touched.
2. Ellen at the breakfast check-in. What a wonderful way to start our morning! She always had a sweet demeanor, with a friendly smile. I looked forward to seeing her.
3. Choo, Yul, and Hailey at the M lounge. Choo was very patient in helping us with the printer. He is polite and conversational. Yul had a great sense of humor and was very chatty. Hailey was always attentive and efficient, noticing when to replenish drinks. She was always charming.
4. The lady behind the noodle station is always cheerful. She also works at the M lounge.
5. Latif, one of the doorman. Very friendly and notices us.
6. Yan Yi - kept our room tidy, fresh, and clean. She remembered to keep the sheet in the bed that we requested.
7. Xing Chao, the housekeeping floor supervisor. She was always cheerful whenever she saw us. Always making sure the room was clean and asked if we need anything else to make our stay comfortable.
8. Karen from 27th floor housekeeping. She was a delight, very warm, sweet and personable. We enjoyed our interactions with her. While she wasn’t the housekeeper on our floor, we met her one night when she was doing the turn-down for a staff who couldn’t work that day.

Above and beyond the excellent amenities, it’s the personal touch that the above-mentioned staff showed us that made our stay memorable. Highly recommend Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel!

Wonderful stay and good service provided
Pros:

This is our 4th visits to the Marriott Singapore Tang Plaza and we really enjoy to stay here. We visited the lounge for a few nights unfortunately we were not very good in English. We would like to thank Xin Yi who patiently explained to us everything especially the ingredients of the cocktail and hotel operation timing. Definitely will be back again next time.

Pleasant stay, save for a small disappointment in the working relationship between property and booking.com

Centrally located and underground access to Malls and MRT

Cons:

The complaint here is more on booking.com customer support which was unresponsive to my request to amend the dates of one of my rooms by 1 day. For changes, the app requests you to contact the property and the property maintains they cannot do anything as the booking was done through the app. the app does not allow you to amend only 1 of the rooms. its either you amend both or not at all. This was very disappointing from booking.com.

Can’t go wrong basing out of the Marriott.
Pros:

Best place to stay. Breakfast a bit pricey so go elsewhere and enjoy the culture.
Rooms clean and as expected. Service is excellent.
