AWEEESOMEE, experience. Big chain hotels are not very good this days, this one is worth it. Clean, nice decor and spacing, super good service, incredible breakfast.

They helped us celebrate a birthday with an nice balloon and cupcakes.

Luis is such a lovely driver.so friendly, helpful and assisted me with everything! I am so thankful and JW Marriott hotel can be so proud to have such a good staff! He loves service-u can feel welcome

The hotel is in a great location. It is a very tired property and not representative of a JW status. I was also surprised by the lack of attention from Marriott security and managers when a man entered the bar area and asked patrons for money. Several people reported the uncomfortable circumstance to employees and nothing was done for a significant amount of time. About 70% of the people in that area were being asked for money.

Security needs to be revisited at this property.

Fantastic hotel. Check-in with Alexander was outstanding. Model agent with a bright future. Housekeeping was the best I’ve seen because of little details, organizing the personal bathroom items neatly was such a nice touch. Had a great interaction with Joshua at the front desk as well. Some of the gym equipment needs to be dusted, just a minor thing. I will be raving about this hotel to everyone. I’m a hotel manager in Fort Lauderdale and have been definitely enjoying my stay. Thank you to the whole team!

Love JWs and this one did not disappoint. Right in the heart of the Galleria Houston walkable and accessible to all major areas. Parking was convenient in and out privileges at self parking and was not too full. Lobby is large and inviting. Front desk staff was professional and friendly. The executive lounge on floor 22 was awesome with great city views. Breakfast had hot cold and to go offerings. Could have used some waters or juice in bottles though. Dinner and dessert selections varies each day. Staff was not as friendly as front desk but constantly busy prepping and cleaning. I did not give a five star as my room was somewhat small even though i was told i received a platinum upgrade. View of city was nice. But elevator noise was loud unfortunately. Bathrooms were upgraded and furnished nicely. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor pool was expansive and empty again great views. Fitness center was solid - clean, modern good equipment and clean. Would return next time in Houston Galleria.

Overall the service was ok. However, the bartender ( older lady) was rude and not accommodating at all. Though the bar got crowded at night with our group and they were definitely understaffed behind the bar, it was no excuse for her attitude and actually refusing to serve one of my colleagues because she “didn’t have time.”

Mr. Luis was very fast and respectful.

After a very long travel day and a late-night arrival in Houston, the last thing you want is a complicated check-in. Thankfully, our experience was the complete opposite thanks to Norma at the night desk.

Even though we arrived very late after a long flight, Norma welcomed us with an incredibly warm and friendly attitude that immediately made us feel at ease. She took the time to help us get acquainted with the hotel, explained everything clearly, and made sure we had everything we needed to settle in comfortably.

What really stood out was her genuine kindness and professionalism. Despite the late hour, she was patient, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our first moments at the hotel were smooth and pleasant. After such a long day of travel, her welcoming energy truly made a difference.

Norma set a wonderful first impression for our stay, and we’re very grateful for her exceptional hospitality. Thank you for turning a late arrival into such a positive experience!

Wonderful experience. Really enjoyed my stay. Took advantage of their hotel shuttle and had a great experience with their driver, Luis. He was very kind, respectful, and with a heart eager to serve and help in any way. We had great conversations! Definitely would come back again and stay at the hotel and utilize their services. Everything was exactly as expected. Rooms were clean and modern. Felt safe even though I was alone.

One of Marriotts superb hotels. Staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious, 2 bottles of water, nice bathroom amenities. Unfortunately no bathrobe and slippers. Very comfortable bed.
A small convenient shop has fresh coffee, pastries, joghurt, salads and wraps.
Breakfast buffet had a lovely selection, eggs to be ordered.
Conveniently located across the street from The Galeria Mall.
