Breakfast and overall experience and comfort
Cleanliness could be better
Nothing
My daughter was stuck in the restroom for 30 mins due to the handle coming off from the inside. A hotel worker showed up with a screwdriver, a crowbar and a credit card to get her out! Then the front desk clerk laughed at us and the manager was “at dinner” and never showed up to help us.
Was not the room we paid for and basically was told “sorry, but too bad”. Other residents had bad experiences as well. Not a good representation for College Station.
Location was good for reaching the campus.
Hotel was relatively quiet, even with the construction occurring and the alarm in the neighboring parking garage.
Room was missing curtains and the blinds didn't close well.
Strong thunderstorm with heavy rain during the night, and the window leaked. The AC was directly under the window, so we were concerned on water reaching the power plugs.
Location to Reed Arena was good.
Room needed a good cleaning. I reserved a room with two double beds received 1 king and a pull out.The pull out was horrible. The shower curtain had dried snot on it.
Location
Desperately needs remodel
The breakfast was very good. The food was fresh and kept hot/cold. The bed was comfortable. The towels were nice and big and too hard and scratchy. Check in/out on the app is convenient. The digital key is very nice.
The hotel needs updating. The faucet in the bathroom dripped. The carpets in the hallway were wrinkled and hard to navigate with a walker. I thought the rate was a little high for the quality.
Location
The unprofessionalism of staff (2nd shift)
It was near by the venue we were going to.
Friendly staff
Close to campus
It looked third world. There were data lines running down the halls. Carpet was dirty in lobby and hallways. Smelled moldy and musty. We didn’t even stay the night. We left and went somewhere else.
The coffee
The
The bed was very comfortable, this was the best part of the room.
The front desk staff was very very good. Friendly, helpful and I enjoyed the free bottle of water and snacks. Nice touch.
The breakfast was so so, but it was free and there was a variety so I shouldn't complain much. I did however question the freshness of the eggs, sausage, bisquits and gravy.
In the room, the desk chair was very worn and the seat back seemed broken. I could not use it.
Room was not ready upon check in. Reservations were made months in advance. Room smelled as if an animal had died in the room. Room needed painting and upgrading.
Needed deep cleaning . Housekeeping should be done daily. Reception staff even complained about Hotel Service.
. Great location to College and dining, great area to walk dog or just yourself. Comfortable beds.
Hotel was good value , however bathroom had a leak from toilet and mold on lower walls of bathroom, to curtain just Venetian blinds and bright lights shining on window outside room seemed always lit
We had to wait about 20 minutes to check in, there were 2 in front of us!! The lobby should’ve told us to cancel and run, but it was too late. The lobby is in need of updating and cleaning, as are the rooms.
