We would visit Louisville again but choose a different hotel.
Pros:

The location was great, room was okay, shower was great

Cons:

Only one elevator working, pool closed one day, pillows were too thick ( no variety of thickness), bedding was aweful ( didn’t cover my six foot husband) the TV only had cable channels ( no ABC, CBS, NBC) so unable to watch basketball games.

One night stay
Pros:

My daughter and I stayed last weekend. The room was great and I had an incredible night sleep. There is a restaurant on site. There was an indoor pool, but we didn’t check it out. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice size but not up to par
Pros:

Close to event.
Starbucks in lobby.
Good size rooms.

Cons:

Out of date furniture and couch looked dirty and very sketchy to sit on. Body fluid stains and hair. Pretty nasty.
Toilet paper holder was broken and kept dropping the roll off.
No microwave in room.
No complimentary water in room for coffee.
Breakfast buffet was not worth the money. Food was crap or just empty when you went up. Had better complimentary breakfast at low end hotels than here and staff was very slow and understaffed. I got 1 coffee in an hour of sitting to eat.
Shower took a long time to get hot water. Had to leave it run 15 mins on high hot to even get warm on first floor.

Do Not Recommend.
Pros:

While the staff was pleasant and the room was clean, that is the only nice thing I can say. The hallway up on floor 5 was very dirty and not just from lack of a days cleaning. Did not get a good night's sleep because we heard everything the lady was saying in the next room and she was not screaming it. Thin walls...

Hidden Costs
Pros:

I am just going to explain why this is not a top star fot me. I had reserved on booking.com and it said my payment was going to be $159 canadian plus $28.16 BUT I was charged $169 u.s. and that is about $232.06 u.s.

I am wondering if they didn't apply my genius discount or something? I would like this fixed.

On another hand the place was lovely and ghe breakfast lovely and the lady in the restaurant was so very sweet.

Cons:

Please see previous. Issues with my charges. It matters a lot to me. And I inquired at the front desk and that lady was rather rude to me.

So not happy with the charges as I that was NOT what i was expecting and the front desk lady.

Restaurant lady was very nice. I should also mention the lady who checked me in was very lovely too. Was just the morning reception.
