Nothing
The stay was one of the worst stay that I have had. My kids all got bite the first two days being there before I finally found a bed bug in the bed with me. I took it to front desk at 6:00 am where I was told I could move rooms but was able to because the had to fine one never got that room because it was taking to long had to leave for work so told I could take care of it later. When I returned it was a different person working and want in her phone and said that her boss said that all that they can do for me is change the sheets this was Tuesday I had no where else to go so I had to stay but never laid in the bed again I slept in a chair the last 3days of my stay
Breakfast was so delicious with a lot of options!
Overall, my stay was decent, but there were several issues worth mentioning.
The room itself was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable, which I definitely appreciated. However, the overall appearance of the hotel feels outdated. The carpet throughout the property is worn and dated, and the bathtub in my room had visible stains, which wasn’t the best first impression.
When I first entered my room, I did what I normally do — inspect everything. I noticed right away that the patio door would not lock. For safety reasons, I went back downstairs and requested to be relocated (Room 250). The staff moved me to another room (Room 237). Once again, I inspected the room and noticed the plug from the AC unit was hanging from the socket. Additionally, the bed and TV were slightly smaller than in my original room. At that point, I wasn’t thrilled and returned to the lobby to ask if I could go back to my original room because I didn’t want to continue searching for a suitable room.
The pool was extremely cold — freezing, honestly — and completely unbearable to enjoy. If you’re looking forward to swimming, be prepared for that.
Breakfast was another disappointment. For non-pork eaters, there were essentially no protein options available. No turkey bacon, turkey sausage, chicken sausage, or turkey ham. The cereal options could also be better. It would be nice to see additional yogurt toppings like strawberries, blueberries, or granola to improve the overall breakfast experience.
In summary, while the bed was comfortable and the room was cozy, the outdated features, maintenance issues, cold pool, and limited breakfast options leave room for improvement. With some updates and attention to detail, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience.
When we were greeted they were very friendly. The girl, I think her name was Jennifer or Jessica, said our room was on the 1st floor. I asked for something on a different floor and she was very accommodating and gave us a room and we were able to enjoy the sunrise. She offered suggestions of places to eat. Very friendly.
The food could have been a little bit warmer. It was luke warm.
The staff was awesome and the facility was very clean. Great breakfast choices! Waffles were amazing! Biscuits and gravy was great!
Beds were very soft. Could have choice of granola for the yogurt(only had dried blueberries). It would be nice if the pool/hot tub was open until midnight for adults only!
The location, and the breakfast
The bathroom, too crowded, toilet stool was a joke, no extra wash clothes or towels
I really liked the breakfast and the shower was amazing.
The employee at the desk could have explained about the extra charge... extra blankets and towels would have been nice. It was me and my husband so two towels not enough with me having extremely long hair. The patio door needs oiling it squeaked and hard to open. The light out on the balcony didn't work either.
It was a great stay
