Rough start to vacation
Pros:

Power went out in our room while getting ready. I think we blew a fuse. We had to leave for the airport at 6. Maintenance wouldn’t get there until 8. Maintenance quit answering phone calls from the front desk about urgency of repair. I had to beg to use another room just to see/finish my makeup/dry my hair. We repacked and finished the morning by phone flashlight.

Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport
Pros:

The location and customer service are very good! However, there needs to be counter space in the bathroom. Perhaps some rooms have that, but we were disappointed that there was nowhere to put a shaving kit or makeup case. Also, breakfast was subpar. This was the first Hyatt I've stayed at without oatmeal, and the scrambled eggs were cold. Many other items were not available when we arrived at 9:15 am for breakfast (which is supposed to be served until 9:30 am).

Pros:

Nice hotel. Great staff and clean rooms. Breakfast included with a nice variety. AC in the room was loud, but overall facility was very nice and clean.

I had a very pleasant stay and the staff met every expectation!
Pros:

Our check in process was seamless and efficient. The clerk was amazing and resourceful with answering our questions. I was really in a bad way because our flight had been adjusted to leave on the next morning and I had no toiletries or a way to get around the city. She provided us some disposables and suggested a great place to eat. She was just more accomodating than she really had to be and I appreciated that in the moment. I can't remember her name, but she was a very pretty AA female.

Cons:

There were no negatives on this stay! All my expectations were met. The room was clean. I did find a hair on the bed but I sprayed it with Lysol and went to bed. It was a long day!

Very clean & quiet. Fresh smell when you walk in, and walking down the hallways.

Horrible room location and Shuttle!
Pros:

Cons:

Traveling alone, I was assigned a first-floor room near an exterior door where guests were going in and out throughout the night to smoke right outside my window. The constant activity made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.

Unfortunately, the shuttle service was equally disappointing. It took over an hour for me to be picked up, and I later learned the shuttle was shared with another hotel. I waited at the pickup location that multiple people had confirmed was correct, but the driver repeatedly filled the shuttle at a different stop and returned without ever coming to mine. My phone battery was nearly dead, and with nowhere to charge it, I had to ask my mother to call the hotel for assistance. When the shuttle finally arrived, the staff were condescending and blamed me for the confusion rather than helping resolve the situation professionally.

Main plus is the location the rest so so.
Pros:

Staff were nice and helpful and it is really close to the car rental centre.

Cons:

The main negative thing was the breakfast. I chose this hotel among many partly because of the breakfast reviews. During our stay the staff did not turn up for work and there was no hot food. Even the toaster was not working. Another issue was rubbish left near the lift shaft all during our stay. The bathroom was tiny compared to the size of the room and the shower was barely warm at maximum.

Overall, my stay met my expectation.
Pros:

The breakfast was improved since my last visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for the purpose of my visit.

Cons:

parking option seems expensive ($18 per day). The TV viewing options was quite limited. And, it took longer than expected to have someone answer questions when I checked out.

Airline Connection stay
Pros:

We needed a quick overnight stay for a Delta connection. We took advantage of a free night stay with our Hyatt membership. It was convenient to the airport and offered free transfers to and from the airport. We did not use the transfer on arrival because they did not pick up at the international terminal and it was much quicker to grab an uber rather than going all the way to terminal one. We did use the shuttle at 5:30 AM the following morning and it was very convenient. Our room was comfortable and clean.
