Pros:

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean.

Cons:

Bed was definitely outdated and hard. But not a deal breaker

A stale version of a Hampton Inn.
Pros:

The location was perfect for our purposes.

Cons:

It felt obligatory, stale, and not up to the standards I’m used to for Hampton Inn. My thru had stains, and the thermostat was broken.

Last Red Roof stay.
Pros:

Location, price, clean

Cons:

Worst bed ever. Mattress sloped and was lumpy. Found a way to lay on it head at foot to one side that worked. So tired that could sleep.

Very clean and the bed was pretty comfy! The housekeeper Rodney was exceptionally helpful!! And personality plus!!!!

Cons:

The only complaint I have is that the comforter/ duvet was way too heavy for me!!!

Pleasant stay with reasonable distance to UofM & the University Hospital. Some issues with general maintenance, but

The hotel was convenient to shopping and walkable to campus (with good walking shoes on!). The front desk staff were all very helpful and accommodating. My husband had a medical procedure at the hospital in the morning and they allowed us to reserve some of the waffle batter in our mini fridge & use the waffle iron after he got back (waffles are his favorite!).

Cons:

Issues with maintenance, for instance the elevator stopped working for a while during our stay, unable to fully shut off the sink in the lobby bathroom, and the pool water seemed suspiciously green-tinged.
