Hampton Inn Charleston-Southridge

Excellent clean spacious room! Our visit was great from the start with a very friendly desk check-in experience. She helped us locate a local nice restaurant to watch the final FIFA match game!

The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom and shower was also spacious with all the amenities we needed. The TV was large and had a great picture and it allowed for us to use our streaming service to watch the movies we wanted.

The pool and spa was excellent and refreshing!

The only reason i did not give this hotel a full 5 star rating was because the under-counter refrigerator was a bit noisy at times. Placing a rubber pad underneath may help reduce the noise.

Overall a great refreshing visit and i will be happy to visit again!

Lovely, clean and spacious room and bathroom, and comfy bed. Great amenities in the room inc coffee/tea making facilities and also toiletries. Breakfast and the catering area was wonderful. Staff were polite, helpful and welcoming.

Traveling with a child, they LOVED the pool. The staff were very friendly when we checked in, and the breakfast was what we were looking for.

And Wendy puts up a well diversified breakfast.( And the counters are clean. )…thank you all for a wonderful stay. Thank you Kayla for providing these ladies name. I have stayed here 3 times this year. Each visit was different first visit was ok, except for loud cars doing donuts on the adjacent parking lot on Friday night. Second visit was very unpleasant with unsupervised children running up and down hallways at night-Ball tournament attendees. Third visit was absolute worst. Again another tournament, I picked my room in alignment with my profile. After a long day of travel arrived and found I did not get my selected room - which I questioned and was told no, you are in different room. Went to that room right beside the elevator ice machine and maintenance room. The exact opposite of what my HILTON honors profile requests. I went back to request a different room and was told that was the only room available. Room smelled like fuel and smelled-not good with respiratory conditions-a night of headaches. Room was clean however smelled - Next day went to different desk person & lady kindly moved me for remainder of stay but first night was a nightmare-not only for smell but noice by the elevator and loud cars racing on the Bass Pro type store lot behind hotel.
Hotel is located nest good shopping and food. Rooms and public spaces were clean. Suggestions include: mattresses need replaced - hotel could use a steam clean/refresh, hold a couple of alternative rooms, and have a quiet sign for 11PM for adults to align by (similar to Hilton Garden Inn). This was good - nice breakfast, the pool and gym were awesome - the location was near restaurants, which made it easy - was on the pricery side I thought for the hotel being a little older but that is summer travel! Like, don't get a cheap hotel - dog friendly, kid friendly, nice staff
