My stay at this hotel was very disappointing and stressful. I stayed in Room 709 from October 19–20, and the experience was far from relaxing. Late at night, I received a call from the front desk saying the tub was leaking into the room below. I was in the shower at the time, and although security was sent up, they never entered the room. When I called back, I was told to continue using the shower as normal since the leak wasn’t serious.
The next morning, after taking a bath, I was interrupted again by staff knocking at the door. I had to get out of the tub for the second time while they inspected the bathroom. They saw a small amount of water around the tub but confirmed it wasn’t flooded. Because of the repeated interruptions and lack of privacy, I decided to check out early, even though I had paid for a late checkout.
On top of that, the showerhead didn’t work properly, the ceiling fan was broken, and I never received a follow-up call or apology from the front desk. The next day, I woke up to find a $1,000 charge on my account for “tub damages,” which I strongly disagree with.
This entire stay was overwhelming, poorly handled, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this property based on how this situation was managed and the lack of accountability afterward.
The location was exceptional facility was clean and staff very helpful
No breakfast at all the nearest restaurant that served breakfast was a ten minute walk in the snow and ice. After we had believed we paid extra when booking the room just for the convenience.
Champ was a huge help, he kept conversation the whole time and seemed generally interested in our travels. Very nice guy and very easy to talk to.

The room was freezing! There was an actual breeze coming through the windows. We tried turning up the thermostat to mid 70s but the room temp would not get above 65. I realize this is an old building but they may need to work on some basic renovations.
