The staff nicely decorated the room for my birthday. People at the front desk were wonderful. I don't understand the doorman. He never greeted us or said hello
He just opened the door. If you're going to have a doorman, he should be friendly.

Hotel in a excellent location and plenty do to around the area so would book again.
Pros:

We stayed in this hotel as we were going to the theatre and dinner and John Lewis Oxford Street cooking school class. Everything was walking distance to the hotel which was in a brilliant location. Gail's cafe next door which is great for early morning coffee. A lot of choice around the hotel for dinner and shopping on Oxford Street/ Regent Street. My second time here and I would definitely book again.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish
Pros:

The room was beautiful and comfortable, with excellent facilities including free fruit and water and complimentary wine and cake! The staff were so helpful and attentive, and I really like the fact the reception area is locked at night to keep people in the hotel safe from people on the streets

Cons:

Probably the only thing I could mention is I would have liked a couple more English Breakfast teabags in the room, but that is literally the only thing I can think of!

La ubicación de hoteles es excelente y su personal súper atento.

Cons:

Las habitaciones están un poco antiguas. Ademas el primer día a las 2 am saltó la alama de incendios y nos dio un gran susto. Y al día siguiente no había agua caliente. Aunque lo solucionaros en breve no los dieron ninguna explicación. La limpieza tampoco era muy buena y el personal de planta estaba todos los días sentados en nuestra escalera charlando.

Pros:

Great location right in middle of everything. M&S 24 hour and numerous pubs restaurants etc right beside restaurant. Lovely warm welcome and taken right up to room. Upgrade when arrived. Complimentary fruit and hot chocolate. Very big comfy bed.

Cons:

Decor in room a bit tired. Dirty windows which marred the amazing view. No charging ports by bed. Fire alarm went off for about a minute at 230am then off again, just on way downstairs when it stopped, no mention of it by staff.

Pros:

Great compact rooms, weird plumbing (but that’s just London I guess) and a bit dated - but close to everything - wonderful location next to an M&S that’s always opened. All the attractions are near by - most within walking distance - Has all the viral foods closely located. It was the best London experience ever - it’s central - walkable to everywhere and the best staff. Also the apples were the best! Thank you Montcalm. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Cons:

Nothing - if pressed I would say I wish the shower drained faster - we had an issue with the smell of the bathroom but they fixed it within the first couple of hours - and sweetened the experience with a couple of bottles of wine and prosecco - highly recommend this place.
