I always stay in this lovely hotel when I am visiting Xiamen.
Pros:

Staff absolutely faultless. Breakfast amazing

Cons:

The hotel is probably reaching the point where it needs some refreshing. A cosmetic refurbishment. It was a little bit tired. A few things broken in the room. Stained floor tiles.

とても快適に休息と仕事ができ，満足しています。
Pros:

過剰ではなく，しかも，心のこもったサービスがとても嬉しかったです。仕事と休息を兼ねての利用でしたが，部屋で落ち着いて仕事ができました。また，近々利用したいと思います。

Cons:

特にありません。ただ，Wi-Fiを接続する時，姓を入力するように指示が出ましたが，姓を入れると接続できませんでした。名前を入れると接続できました。

Pros:

Loved it, great location, spaces for running, good food from their restaurant, and good gym (though I had to request it to be open very early in the morning).
A solid grocery store nearby, too.

I'll definitely yo back.

Cons:

- Just one staff member guy, seemingly a manager, seemed annoyed when I requested a salad instead of fries and not very welcoming afterwards.

Very average unfortunately. On previous stays it was a lot more organised.

The location and general pleasantness of the staff.

Cons:

I consistently get no hot water in my shower and the air conditioner didn’t work properly. Breakfast was not up to the usual standard of previous stays. Hotel felt tired and not properly maintained.

One of the best in the city
Pros:

This was our first visit to the Marco Polo Hotel in Xiamen. We were impressed by the hotels old world charme and convenient location. The staff were very attentive, service was prompt and efficient. It features an array of restaurants to choose from. The atrium Lobby Lounge has a cosmopolitan feel to it. Try the flower Latte, its really nice. The only issue we encountered was the room being too warm and the AC is not cooling sufficiently but they managed to fix it after some time. The street behind the hotel has some cute coffee shops and wine bars. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Pros:

Fabulous open atrium lounge. A hotel with history and charm. Personal and pleasurable change from chain hotels. Gym was better than most hotel gyms of this category. Restaurant choice good if you are working and don’t want to go out. Chinese better than the italian. Great bar service.

Warm Welcome
Pros:

Next to the river, restaurants. Bars. Coffee shops.
Calm and welcome.
Staff is over welcome as service
Especially Ella from the launch who taking good care of everyone.
Only one thing to improve: lounge time need to be back to 9:00 pm - need bing fair with the customers.

Excellent service at Marco Polo’s Continental Club
Pros:

Great time in Xiamen, and fantastic facilities in the Marco Polo. I had to use the Continental Club quite intensely to prepare for meetings, and the service and attention delivered by Betty, Amy and Clare was extraordinary! So good to have these facilities, and the excellent service that goes with them!!!
