Great stay.

I like the fact they had complimentary breakfast and a clear elevator. The staff was very nice too not sure if my room was properly cleaned because there was a hair clip in the shower .

Erica Murphy and her team truly went above and beyond for our Turnaround Leader Network Conference. From start to finish, we experienced excellent customer service that made hosting our event seamless and enjoyable.
We especially appreciated the thoughtful details, including clear and welcoming signage that guided attendees and labeled meeting spaces effectively. The audio visual team was incredibly patient and supportive, even as we worked through several user errors with our display—they never missed a beat. The team also met with us the day prior to conduct a thorough sound and video check, which gave us confidence going into the event.
Throughout the conference, the banquet manager checked on us frequently to ensure everything was running smoothly and that all our needs were met. That level of attentiveness made a huge difference.
The hotel itself is lovely, with very clean and comfortable rooms. Many of our participants commented on how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed their stay.

I had high hopes for this property, but my experience at the DoubleTree in Murfreesboro was one of the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel.

My check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, yet my room wasn’t ready until well after 7:00 PM a three-plus hour wait with no satisfactory explanation. When I finally got into my room, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned. The bedding had to be changed, and the room carried a noticeable musty, damp odor that made the space feel uncomfortable and uninviting.

To make matters worse, there were no other available rooms to move me to, so I was essentially stuck. As compensation, the hotel offered complimentary breakfast vouchers which, unfortunately, were also a letdown. The quality of the breakfast did not meet expectations, adding yet another disappointment to an already frustrating stay.

When I raised my concerns with the front office manager, Harmony, I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism. That kind of response from management is simply unacceptable, especially when a guest has been so clearly inconvenienced.

The hotel touts a recent renovation, but honestly, it looked like little more than a fresh coat of paint on an aging building. The improvements if any were made were not reflected in the cleanliness, comfort, or quality of the rooms.

The only bright spot of my entire stay was dinner at the burger bar, where I had the pleasure of being served by Cass. She was warm, funny, and genuinely welcoming a true professional who made me feel like a valued guest. She deserves recognition because, without that interaction, there would be nothing positive to say about this visit.

If I find myself back in Murfreesboro for business, I will absolutely be staying elsewhere. I cannot in good conscience recommend this property.

I held my daughter's graduation party at the Double Tree Hotel. After another venue fell through days before the scheduled party, the catering manager Erica helped me plan and coordinate the room and catering at the Double Tree. She thoroughly discussed and presented my family with all the catering options down to the last detail. Erica was very helpful and friendly. The catering assistant Veeta did an OUTSTANDING job setting up the party room with everything that my family had requested. Veeta helped us decorate and was there to help us with any and all our needs. She was truly a lifesaver and accommodated my family and our guests in every way. My daughter's graduation party turned out beautifully and was a huge success. She was so happy on her special day. I would HIGHLY recommend the Double Tree Hotel in Murfreesboro for any special event. The hotel is very nice and clean. Their meeting rooms are large and very comfortable. The food was also really good. The staff was exceptional.

The Tennessee County Clerk's Assoc held our annual spring conference at eh DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Murfreesboro in May 2026. The hotel overall was very clean and newly remodeled. The meeting rooms exceeded our expectations, the staff was friendly, upbeat and professional. Every meal we ate at the hotel was delicious.

Erica and the DoubleTree Murfreesboro always work so well with us for our business stays and events. We are so thankful for their flexibility and communication before, during, and after stays and events. I would highly recommend using them!
