Overall the stay was fine for a night, just probably wouldn’t seek it out again.
Pros:

Breakfast area was clean. They had cereal, waffle station with various toppings, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, various muffins, scones, bagels, egg frittatas, sausage patties, OJ, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Everything was fresh and well stocked.
Staff was very pleasant. Location was easy access to the freeway, Kings Island and Great Wolf Lodge.

Cons:

The hotel rooms are very outdated. I did know this based on reviews so that didn’t impact me much.
Now the cleanliness of the rooms could use some attention. It was pretty dusty, some stains on the sheets, comforter and window shade. Bathroom floors, corners also need a scrubbing.

I feel like this hotel could be very nice with some updates. Very close to Kings Island
Pros:

The man working the front desk was the best part of our stay. The company should promote him. He was very kind and accommodating and represented the hotel very well

Cons:

Our room was dirty and smelled bad when we checked in. However the man at check in gave us a new room, made sure the new room was clean and good for us

Staff was great, location was great, the facility needs many repairs and elevator states inspection needs updated asap.
Pros:

Good location and easy access, friendly staff.

Cons:

Wallpaper in much need of repair, dirty soap dish in our bathroom, soiled/dirty carpeting in room and halls, the elevator licenses expired in April 2025, a window in the pool area is shattered and the tub caulking is in much need of repair.

The room I stayed in had mold in the shower. I never experience this type of uncleaness in a Hampton Inn. It was very shocking. Told a staffer and it did phase them.

Horrible, bad, avoid

The breakfast was a hotel breakfast.

Cons:

I booked 4 rooms and two of our friends booked separately. One of our friends was put into a room with bed bugs. The staff told us they KNEW the room was quarantined and had bed bugs and it was marked as such on their forms and the bedbugs have been in the room for weeks, but they put them in there anyway because they over booked the hotel. They refused to refund our friend her money so she got put up with one of our people in their room without any offer of compensating either party. The pool was broke. The side entry doors to the building were broke. In the bathrooms the showers didn't drain, the towel bars were broken off of walls, and there were rust/mold stains. Every room had something broken in it which was bad enough, but the bed bug situation is unforgivable.

Pros:

After check in we went to our room and our door was open. Next we arrived back at our room no clean towels. Next in the early morning housekeeping tried to enter our room. Not very happy with this stay
