Pros:

I always choose dog friendly, however it was a surprise. The attendant was very good about it.
He took me to my room and I'm fixated on the beds. Didn't look good.
Bathroom floor, dirty.
A shower and sleep was all I was after with my girls. It was 25.00 per dog and you need to go through the lobby to get to your room.
All in all, the room was cheap and did the trick.

Pros:

When you arrive they tell you there’s a 100$ deposit that’s required to stay, even after already paying the room price and who knows when you’ll get it back depending on your bank. Only way to get back the next day is if you pay cash, and no where online does it say this!

Pros:

Key card didn't work, had to have them change the key several times and even after it "worked" it took at least 20 swipes to get the door open. There was a metal piece ofnrhe bedframe sticking out that I cut and bruised my ankle on. Sick handle missing for hot, light above aink didn't work. There was zero toilet paper, no facial tissue and not even 1 garbage can in the room when we got there. Only 1 hand towel, no shower towels ar all. We had to ask for all rhee things that should have already been there. I also found someone else's prescription medication the next morning on the chair when I pulled it out. The beds were rock hard, very uncomfortable and room room was very beat up with scufs and divits in the walls, old lighting, outdated and not very clean. They offered me a soda ans chips to make it better". I won't be back here ever again.

This is a place where you go to die!!!!
Pros:

First off on entry to The property You could barely see it landscaping looks horrible we thought it was closed down! Then walking into the front desk I spoke to the attendant there The death's cat inches of dust on everywhere and I don't know where they got this picture at to put on the website but there's nothing in there that looks like that The carpeting was extremely filthy and my socks and my slippers were pitch black just from walking on the floor in the room I had to ask for new sheets and pillowcases extra pillows I had to iron everything everything was wrinkly My husband and I had to go to the store to get bleach cleaner Lysol disinfectant wipes and air freshener because it was that disgusting and the gentleman at the front desk seemed not to care at all I have stayed at many hotels and that was the worst I've ever stayed in I've dated better hotels for $50 then this hotel! That hotel is where people go to overdose and die it's that bad. I would ever cry of a hotel room but that made my anxiety go through the roof and I started crying! I just can't believe that a hotel could be that nasty and then upon leaving we saw the cleaning cart and that was just disgusting in itself.

Pros:

Comfortable, clean bed. Perfect for quick stays. Solo-traveler friendly.

Overall, this is exactly what I would expect for the cost. Admittedly, the building is older and has an older building kind of smell, but as a whole the facility is clean. Linens and towels seemed to be fresh, and complimentary mini toiletries are available in the room. I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. I’ve stayed here twice now and feel that the area is safe, even if it is slightly secluded from the main road. Sheetz and Wendy’s are within walkable distance. Very convenient for its proximity to Hershey Park, Stadium, and Chocolate World. My only complaint is the “continental breakfast.” When I stayed here two years ago, there were at least mini muffins and bananas available in the breakfast area. This past stay, there were only 3-4 pre-packaged bagels and 2-3 flavors of Quakers oats. There was a keurig, but no decaf coffee. Again, for the price I paid for the room, I don’t expect a huge breakfast selection, but given the description online and past experience, I had hoped for just slightly more. I’ll probably use this hotel again in the future for quick stays!

Pros:

Econo Lodge North Harrisburg advertises as Pet Friendly, however at check in I informed them that my service dog was with me. They demanded that I show them a “tag” proving he was a service dog. I informed them that it was a violation of the ADA to request any proof or identification, there is none. I informed them that they should know this. They would not check me. There were no other cars in the parking lot outside the hotel. There was a vegetable garden with a large collection of different junker lawn mowers adjacent to the front entrance. Expedia kindly refunded my money after I reported the ADA issue.

Don't stay here!!!
Pros:

Dirtiest most unkept hotel room ever. Down right nasty. The hotel staff were nice but that's about it. The bathroom was dirty with clumps of hair everywhere. The floors were disgusting and left our socks dirty. Floors and furniture were falling apart. Beds felt like they were going to break. Only one sheet and very light blanket. Worst place I've ever stayed.

Pros:

I am writing to formally express my total dissatisfaction with my stay at the Econo Lodge – Harrisburg, PA, where I unfortunately had the worst hotel experience of my life.

From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that there was a complete lack of care regarding cleanliness and maintenance. The environment was extremely dirty, with visibly grimy floors, an unhygienic bathroom, and an unpleasant odor. The level of filth was so severe that it posed a potential health risk to guests, particularly due to the accumulation of dust and mold, both in the room and in the breakfast area.

The facilities were in poor condition, poorly maintained, and lacked the minimum standards of comfort. The service was also disappointing: the staff was unprepared, unfriendly, and showed no willingness to address the issues reported.

It is unacceptable that a hotel in operation offers this kind of experience to its guests. I sincerely hope that serious measures will be taken to review the standards of hygiene, customer service, and infrastructure. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially to those traveling with children.

This is my formal complaint and a warning to other travelers.

Terrible Hotel

Property in very poor condition
Pros:

A poorly maintained property. Run down and dirty. Checked in after midnight and dealt with loud barking dog and an arguing couple a few doors down. Smoke detector had no battery. Towels were soiled. Bad experience.

Pros:

The property and the rooms need major renovations. The room we we're given was dirty and old. I am requesting a refund from Expedia and Econolodge. We left and stayed elsewhere.
