Econo Lodge Duluth near Miller Hill Mall

Room smelled musty. There were stained towels laying in the hallway on the carpet; must of been from a leak. They were there over 24 hours. The drawers in the room were dirty either from dirt or crumbs; I had to wash them out with a washcloth before I could put my clothes in the drawer. The drain in the tub and bathroom sink had no drain covering; just an open hole. I had to ask for a drain cover at least for the sink so I didn’t drop my contact lenses or jewelry down the sink. The pictures of the rooms must be from many years ago because our room didn’t look like that. I spent over $400 for 2 nights and I expected much more. And the breakfast was pathetic; ran out of stuff 2 hours before breakfast was over. And the pool was closed; waiting for the health inspector I was told! Yikes, hope the inspector looks over the whole place.

Clean but old and in need of updates. Furniture is old and beat up, parking lot is in need of repaving. No smoke alarms in rooms.Very noisy, do not get a room near the ice machine.

Our AC was set to 60 degrees and our room was 75+ the whole time

It smelled so bed I couldn’t stay.

Pool and hot tub not working. Only had a few boiled eggs, waffle maker was down. The only other item they had was bread for toast. We were told that they would have eggs and sausage when we checked in the night before. That did not happen.

If someone is a regular customer and leaves something there and asks you to hang onto it, you don't throw it away.

Breakfast was very poor. The sausage was undercooked. Eggs were instant. Very disappointing. The bathroom was not very clean.Especially the floor around the toilet. The back entry we came in , had all kinds of construction materials and plaster , laying all over. The trash receptacles were right outside that door and they were totally overflowing , and I saw no recycle containers. The grounds around the building look like a waste land. The air conditioner was very loud.And also the exhaust fan in the bathroom. We did not sleep very well at all. Would never stay there again.

The computer did not work, the hot tub and pool are not working. The girl at.the counter was busy talking to her boyfriend. And he just stood by the counter when i needed help

Comfortable, clean, & convenient.

The parking lot was in pretty poor shape. Not sure if the back door was ever locked as every time we came in you didn't need a key. The floor was a bit sticky. Space room and decent breakfast. The price was quite reasonable.

Pool room was closed with no noyification. Room was dusty and bugs/roaches in sink. Moved rooms but hardcto be comfortable knowing what I saw. Lots of minor fixes on appearance need to be fixed.

When I checked in, I noticed several issues with the room:
• The main door latch was broken.
• The window glass was cracked.
• Water was leaking from the wash basin pipe, leaving the floor wet.

I reported these problems to the front desk, but they said the hotel was full and couldn’t provide any solution or alternate room. So, I had to stay with all these issues for the entire booking period.

This was really uncomfortable and honestly quite frustrating. I also reached out to Hotels.com, but they advised me to contact the property directly.

RJ at the front desk was the best thing about the hotel. He was kind and friendly. But the property as a whole was a mess. Our first room we walked into was unclean and had drug on the counter. Walked down and was given a new room. Breakfast in the morning is rough to say the least it’s the bare basics. Room was clean but could use a update and can definitely hear other rooms.

Our room s toilet leaked every time it was used, the entire room smelled moldy and dirty. For the price of almost $300 the room doesn’t even meet basic needs.

Well when we went the pool and hot tub were not avaliable and were down and thats the one thing we were expecting and yeah bot good

Didnt even get out of the car. Not what the pictures presented at all. People loitering outside. Had to scramble to find a place to stay and the hotel we found even said it was not a good place to stay at all

Lumpy bed, TV didn't work. But friendly staff.

The outside looks a little rough but inside very nice will definitely be coming back again. Unfortunately they were upgrading pool while we were here but that being said nice to know there upgrading everything for the guests. Really happy about the fact their pet friendly.

Room was clean. We just returned from a trip and had large luggage. We are 75 and 81years old and there was no elevator. I booked a handicap room but they move us.
