The reception experience was not good. We had to carry our own luggage even though it was very heavy, and the gentleman standing there did not assist us; he only directed us to where we should go, which was not very welcoming.
The room was disappointing. The bed sheets and the bathroom were not clean.
On a positive note, the staff member at check-in was very kind, and the check-out experience was pleasant as well.
This is one of the largest hotel we have ever stayed in with almost 800 rooms. They cater well for multiple coach parties but it is too overwhelming for a small family group.
The staff are extremely helpful and informative and they were very helpful with a couple queries we made. The rooms are very good and the hotel is located near two Metro stations and the Eiffel Tower.
Service in the bar was good but it was invariably noisy and busy. There was an adequate selection at breakfast buffet but we had to queue every morning to get in. This was because of big coach parties.
Using the lifts was challenging at first as this was not straight forward but this was a security provision that keeps guests safer.
The hotel provides good access for those needing special access and they responded well to a possible trip hazard.
