הכל
One of the best hotel experiences. Via Amex Platinum and their Hotel Collection, you will receive and Hyatt will honor an early check-in, late check-out, free breakfast, and $100 to spend at the hotel. I had a stomach virus on the last day and the late check-out saved me! I am very grateful because my flight was only at night. Thank you and I had an amazing experience.
Walking distance to parks and bakeries
Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was expecting it to be good, but it was surprisingly good. The rooms are modern and clean and in excellent condition. I really appreciated the sophisticated lighting system (although it can take a little trial and error to figure it out). Housekeeping during our stay had to be requested, but was excellent. We always came back to a fresh room. The hotel also offers a couple of onsite restaurants that look really good, but we opted to try local restaurants instead since there are a lot of options within easy walking distance. You couldn't ask for a better location to explore Polanco. Would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to a return visit.
Location excellent, Room very clean and comfortable, breakfast has very good options and flavor.
Everything was very good
Localização, conforto e café da manhã espetacular!
My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City was a masterclass in how a top-tier hotel handles the logistical complexities of a multi-part reservation. While there were some minor bumps along the way, the property’s strengths—and its people—far outweighed the hiccups.
Location & Facilities
The location is arguably one of the best in the city. Nestled in a prime area, it serves as the perfect base for exploring CDMX, with everything from world-class dining to cultural landmarks just a short stroll away. The facilities themselves are excellent; the hotel feels modern, well-maintained, and offers that polished high-end atmosphere you expect from the Hyatt Regency brand.
Navigating Globalist Perks & Logistics
My stay was a bit of a puzzle: I had three consecutive reservations, the middle of which included a confirmed Suite Upgrade Award. I did encounter some initial minor issues regarding the recognition of my World of Hyatt Globalist benefits. Additionally, because the hotel was overbooked on their Regency Suites, I ended up having to move rooms twice during my stay.
While moving rooms isn't ideal, the situation was handled with grace and efficiency. Edgar, the Operations Assistant Manager, stepped in and sorted everything out promptly. His ability to rectify the benefit recognition issues and manage the room transitions smoothly turned a potentially frustrating experience into a seamless one.
Final Verdict
Despite the logistical shuffle and the initial oversight on perks, the Hyatt Regency CDMX remains a top choice. If you are a Globalist, you might need to keep an eye on your benefits during check-in if you have complex bookings, but rest assured that management (especially Edgar) is proactive about making things right.
I’ll definitely be back—hopefully with a few less room moves next time!
Las habitaciones muy comodas
Lo del Estacionamiento, que lo cobran aparte.
Para mi gusto ya debe ir incluido, en ocasiones he ido sin carro, eso no es problema, no cobren las cosas aparte, son malas sorpresas para el visitante
Luxury hotel with excellent amenities . Food excellent, concierge most helpful in securing reservations around the city, many cultural sites to visit, a city worth visiting several times.
We had an excellent ~1-week stay at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City. The neighborhood felt safe and it was conveniently located next to Chapultepec Park, which is home to the Anthropology Museum, Castle, and Zoo.
The hotel was overall very clean, from our room to all the amenities. The staff were always courteous and friendly. Requests to room service were addressed promptly. The heated pool and sauna were a delight. The breakfast buffet was delicious with ample selection, however, its value is debatable ($705 pesos+tip). A minor suggestion: the sweet pastries, apart from croissants and conchas, could use some rotations as it got stale eating the same danish every morning.
Overall, very happy with our stay!
Hotel muy comodo. En una de las mejores areas.
Todo estuvo bien.
DESAYUNO MUY BUENO
NO HAY QUEJA
Snídaně byla výborná.
Všechno se nám líbilo.
Flexibilidad de check out hasta las 2 pm
Almohadas muy incómodas
Hotel is lovely but administration is a nightmare. I'm still waiting for my invoice as reception check out could not provide one and the copy I have does NOT match the amount they charged!
This is my second time in this hotel, it is amazing, the staff, the food, the lounge! it wont be my last time that is for sure. Also the location is very good as well.
