Do not stay here. Under construction
Pros:

We booked this place due to it included a breakfast. But it did not have a breakfast.

Cons:

Everything. Advertised breakfast included, but no breakfast. Requested fresh towels, but all day they never brought any. When we returned and called the front desk about it. They said I could come to the front desk to get some. I hung up on him.

I used to stay in La Quinta and was a pleasant hotel but not this time
Pros:

Breakfast was not good. Phone was not working. Refrigerator was not working. I told the hotel to change the fridge.

Cons:

Not the pocket breakfast. Working phone and working items in the room

Safe, needed, more than acceptable.
Pros:

Room fine, close to pool. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable as the kitchen was still under construction. All worked hard for the best.

Cons:

Room was designated handicapped accessible. I am grateful I had a room, although a designated room was not necessary, still fine. I had work to do, so a desk and different chair would have worked well. But I am not complaining.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! Construction work/ dodgy wifi

DO NOT STAY HERE !
1. 1 minute after I booked I got a text saying there was construction / renovation work 8am - 5pm each day. (Of course I would not have booked had I known this). So some facilities out - I didn’t check if gym was available but probably not.

2. My booking stated Breakfast was included. When I turned up at breakfast they said they didn’t serve it during renovations / construction. No refund / discount. Again false advertising.

3. Sink in room didn’t drain properly and was dirty

4. Walls paper thin so we heard the person in the next room snore from 7pm to 7am.

5. Used the hotel wifi - and made a travel booking using credit card. 3 hours later I had 7 transactions go through from 2 stores … and had to cancel the card. Pretty sure it’s due to someone hacking the wifi.

I contacted the property about all this - no reply.
Booking.com contacted them - they did not offer a refund or anything.

Pros:

The floor was dirty. There wasn't even a waste basket or a hair dryer. The breakfast consisted of two granola bars, apple juice, water and a cookie. Very disappointing experience. Not what I was used to at La Quinta

Nice & comfortable & clean!
Pros:

Nice spot that’s going through some remodeling, but it did not affect my room or my stay for the evening. STAFF was busy when I showed up last night, but they were cordial to every individual there which not always easy to do when you’re a one man operation is what it look like last night anyways good spot, affordable, clean room and my request for a ground floor room was fulfilled. Thank you. I’ll keep you folks in mind if I’m ever back in this area from Arizona.

Pros:

The new upgrades although not finished and not posted to let you know exactly what to expect until after you have booked the room and cannot cancel. I drove from east coast and encountered close roads due to recent fires in California so I was exhausted and had no choice but stay at LA Quinta.

Cons:

Bathroom door is so off line it scrapes the toilet seat, floor felt like it had not been mopped, no trash can or reg coffee in the room. I arrived about 9:30 due to traffic and was woken up with noises around 5:30am
