Pros:

The new upgrades although not finished and not posted to let you know exactly what to expect until after you have booked the room and cannot cancel. I drove from east coast and encountered close roads due to recent fires in California so I was exhausted and had no choice but stay at LA Quinta.

Cons:

Bathroom door is so off line it scrapes the toilet seat, floor felt like it had not been mopped, no trash can or reg coffee in the room. I arrived about 9:30 due to traffic and was woken up with noises around 5:30am

Pros:

Very nice rooms, very clean, comfortable. Doing renovations, so there is construction going on. This also makes the stay a good deal. Very nice staff. Lots of places to eat nearby. Buses are also near. I found my stay very relaxing.

Not as advertised and definitely not worth the dollars spent.
Pros:

Decent location for our needs since it was supposed to serve breakfast and we had no car. We knew there was construction going on, but we were not planning on being there during construction time.

Cons:

Not what we expected. Found out the day before arriving there was not going to be breakfast and the best thing in the ToGo bag was the bottle of water. My wife and I are 86 years old but were given a room on the third floor and told to use the elevator. However, when we returned to the facility the last evening we discovered the “only” elevator was out of order. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs which is difficult for us. The next morning I attempted to call the desk for help with our luggage, and the phone rang for almost 2 minutes before it disconnected. We found 2 young people from housekeeping to help us get our luggage down. Except for the desk person who checked us in the desk people were none existent , overwhelmed or condescending. All of this wasn’t worth the almost $500 we paid to stay for 3 nights.

LOUD!
Pros:

Remodeled, comfortable beds

Cons:

1)They are now charging $10 for parking
2) loud guests were staying a few doors down from us with loud music and partying at 10:00 pm. Staff said they got many noise complaints and assured us they would tell them to quiet down. After an hour, I went to the front desk and she told me that she is the only one there and can't do anything about it and she had no other rooms we could change to. I had to call the police to come and quiet them down (we had to wake up at 6 am the next morning) She should have done that, not me.

Niet doen
Pros:

Nou niks.

Cons:

Niks was open

The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and the room plus the property were dirty. The lobby itself was horrible smelling.

Should have stayed at a Motel 6!
Cons:

I knew it was under renuvation.......that was not a problem for me....however nothing was stated that there would be no coffee or hairdryer....I never have breakfast so that was no problen....BUT COFFEE. is a must...that is why I choose La Quinta ....the staff comment about hairdryers was laughable....maybe it got stolen out of the room....my reply was ....I need one.....and was told they didn't have any.....also the bathroom light would not turn off......I do need to say that I was offered a breakfast to go bag that would available at 7am....no coffee

Think twice
Pros:

AC units leak in some rooms . Management is aware and still rents rooms. I almost fell and could of been seriously injured. A large amount of water covered part of the slippery floor. Breakfast was two granola type bars in a brown paper bag. No water or coffee or juices were offered.
