Offre non à jour et remboursement impossible

L’hotel est propre, la chambre venait d'être refaite

Cons:

Nous avons réservé sur booking une chambre avec petit déjeuner. L’hotel étant en travaux, le petit déjeuner ne pouvait pas être servi. L’hotel n’a donc pas fait le nécessaire pour mettre leur offre à jour auprès de booking. De plus, nous avons demandé un remboursement que nous n’avons pas obtenu parce que l’hotel n’a jamais voulu appeler booking malgré notre demande faite par téléphone suite aux recommandations du service apres vente de booking.

Tripping hazards, stairs wrapped in paper, vulgar construction workers having a fiesta in every parking area. I believe it should have been a discounted at least in this condition. The lights weren't done yet . I tripped on concrete paper wrapped stairs in the f n dark

Not returning to this hotel. I rarely write a review and especially not bad ones, but had to share.
Pros:

Parking close to room. USB plugs. Easy access to the freeway.

Cons:

Room was extra small. Vent and light kept coming on in bath/shower room for no reason.
There was no breakfast. That was an issue. We were given one night free for compensation. But the manager (Anna) shouted at me over the phone and constantly interrupted me regarding the complimentary breakfast that they were not providing in spite of the fact that Booking.com description includes breakfast. Basically she was rude until she found out that she had actually authorized a discount....then she softened reluctantly.
Beds were OK. Pillows were very lumpy. No towels renewed in all three days. Trash can too small. Electrical connection under desk falling out of the wall....very dangerous!!! No luggage racks so had to use the desk surface.
Neighbors smoking pot so had to use towel to prevent smell from coming into room....neighbors talked outside door well into the night.
Gardening staff friendly. Office staff just sat there like lumps on a log.
Under renovation so nothing looks very nice and trim....lots of dust and trash laying around. Not the best place. We stayed at Best Western the rest of the week with great service and tidy atmosphere + great breakfast.

Pros:

The reservation never stated there was no breakfast due to renovations- in fact just the opposite, there were details about the breakfast - one of the main reasons I booked there! The staff said “sorry” and claimed I should have gotten a message about renovations (I never received anything) and didn’t address the breakfast bait-and-switch issue. Also the room I got was subpar: it smelled like smoke covered up by a Febreeze-type chemical, the shower had someone else’s hair on the walls, the bathroom light kept turning on autonomously, the wall cooling unit would be on until it reached the set temp, then turn off and never turn back on, the floor was very dirty, my socks were brown after a few minutes of being in the room. The new, I think, room decor was right out of a ‘90s motel room, but the bed was adequate.

Cons:

Pros:

La Quinta is in the midst of renovations. The rooms are very nice, and comfortable. There is a lot of construction, but they do tell you. I'm sure it will be very nice when they are finished with the renovation.

The roominess as nice as a high end hotel. I’d stay again’
Pros:

Location is perfect being close to the freeway yet not hearing the freeway noise when I was in my room.
I will definitely stay here again. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.
This may have been the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
The shower was incredible!
Spacious room with a very nice tv! Lots of channels.

Cons:

The parking lot needs redone but since they’re renovating I’m sure it will also be renovated.
