Jorge and Mayra Pea were amazing when it came to customer service. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of whwn we had a mishap while checking in. Definitely recommend staying here if you're in Costa Mesa and needing a place to stay.
I am there with our football coaches every year for the annual Glazier coaches clinic and love the hospitality and service from Maricela at your Starbucks, we look forward to see her every year she’s so energetic and happy to make sure the masses have their necessary caffeine and pastries. She’s a true gem and a friendly face that makes all of us visit her every year.

Lance was awesome. Helped me fix my check in because I messed something up. Then he helped me link my reservation to a future reservation. And THEN he helped me purchase stuff at the convenience store. He really supported my entire first night. Great guy. Great hotel.
Marissa was excellent. The rooms are well maintained. The staff is friendly and willing to serve. The ambience in the lobby at night is terrific.
Parking is a little crazy, but that is to be expected in SoCal. However, the hotel is beautiful and our room was great! Clean and spacious, well decorated, with comfortable chairs and bed. Marissa was a dream at check in. The entire process took less than 5 minutes. You can't go wrong with this hotel.
Marissa and Myra were absolute rock stars and truly elevated our entire stay. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, attentive, and incredibly supportive. Any questions or needs we had were handled quickly and with a positive attitude, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. Their professionalism was matched by their warmth, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making our experience enjoyable. Little details didn’t go unnoticed, and their communication was excellent throughout our time there. Thanks to Marissa and Myra, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. We truly appreciated their help and would happily return because of them.

Front desk staff was wonderful, very friendly and service oriented. Streaming service on tv and comfortable bed. Great location close to airport.
Ancillary charges like $45 parking and no free water ($2.50/very basic brand bottle). Thermostat screen didn't work properly and het was very drying. Called for toothpaste & blanket and she only brought toothpaste, said she'd come back but after a long wait had to call again and when she came back she said she was on break. A few hairs n bathroom floor/shower.
The evening of Friday January 23, 2026, I arrived at the hotel and was greeted at the front desk by an elder gentleman (I later became to know his name Lance). He is very funny, patient, diligent and professional. I believe he is a role model at the hotel. Thank him and the hotel.

Lance at the front desk was the highlight of the trip! He was very friendly and super helpful to everyone who he helped, including us. Room was a bit dated but clean overall.

Dinner meal and drinks were good service was a little slow
Our key to open our door to room didn’t work and I had to go back downstairs 3 times to get new keys all didn’t work so they had to get another room for us .
Location was perfect
Door battery died and process to get back in my room was dreadful. Front desk staff didn't look into it or seem to care. Originally thought my room key was the issue but turns out it was the battery for the Door lock. Had to wait outside my door for 30min before anyone came.
Loved the location and the hotel was very clean
The air conditioner did not work in the room and was not the most comfortable night sleep
The surprise $45 self parking fee. Yellow lighting. Insanely outdated.
We are always comfortable at the Hilton Costa Mesa .. we stayed here over Christmas and new year on a 6 night visit with 8 family members and overall had a great experience as always .
One of our party had a terrible room on floor 2 , where they normally put airline staff who are going to sleep all the trip .. so for vacationers you want to avoid these .. higher floor king rooms with a big window overlooking the front entrance are the go to ..
I must say that Lance , the front desk manager was so helpful in sorting out our issues and trying to keep us all happy , probably the best hospitality staff member we’ve encountered for years .. so look out for him .. !
We’re checking in again this coming Wednesday for four nights on business and will be looking for Lance to get us a great room !
