Not a "quality" inn
Pros:

The staff was friendly and pleasant to talk to.

Cons:

Not clean, bed wasn't comfortable, the room/bathroom was a tight squeeze, and the facilities were broken or non existent. There was no free breakfast included with our stay. Our room was upstairs and there was no elevator to help get bags upstairs.

The property was clean and in a good location.
Pros:

The property is in a very convenient location it is close to the Amtrak station, restaurants and the Southern Illinois University campus.

Cons:

I didn’t like that the property doesn’t have an elevator, and I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle. I also think that the pillows in my room were uncomfortable.

Carol at front desk was great!
Pros:

Front desk nighttime lady, I believe her name was Carol, was a great, and extremely helpful.
Was able to use the coffee machine in lobby in the evening.

Cons:

Hotel is a little run down and not the cleanest. Front door lock in lobby broken and duck taped. Found a few random hairs in the room that didn't belong to either of us staying there. The refrigerator didn't work well. Coffee pot in room. didn't work. Empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in bathroom.
