Fantastic building since this is an ancient covent and an ex-prison but the downfall is that the rooms+ bathrooms are very small and not to the standing and price of the hotel !

Bâtiment magnifique et chambre très spacieuse et heureusement bien insonorisés. Literie princière. Le luxe d’une piscine et de jardins cachés en plein centre ville.
Accueil assez froid pollué pendant notre séjour par d’incessantes privatisations, neutralisant la chapelle située au milieu de l’hôtel, générant un bruit d’enfer (tests sons et musiques envahissantes) et coupant l’accès piscine. Expérience qui relève plus de l’hôtel club que d’un palace.
Excellent location within walking distance of the all the major parts of the city. Hotel porters were very friendly and very helpful with directions and taking care of our luggage. The beds were very comfortable and the decor of the hotel are beautifully done.
Our room was very small and i did not like the open window in the bathroom into the main room at all. The hotel is pricey so the size of the room was a disappointment as there was little room to open our suitcases and walk around the room. Reception was okay but not overly welcome on either arrival or departure. The stairs in it means you will need help with your luggage.
Very nice museom hotel, beatifull patios, a lot of history. The staff is very nice, always willing to help. But the inside rooms are no confort.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. Luxury Mexican style. The building itself was immersed in history offering guests beautiful courtyards & gardens. Ideal location for sightseeing and sampling the ‘many’ Michelin star restaurants throughout the old town. Oaxaca is the foodie capital of Mexico and you will not be disappointed. Prices are probably on par with average UK prices for eating out. Like everywhere else in Oaxaca the hotel offers great food.
This hotel is expensive, but you get what you pay for. The place is stunning. The restaurant amazing, and grounds are beautiful, and they do everything they can to help you. They provided a wheelchair for my husband at no additional cost, they recommended an amazing guide, they helped us every day with kindness, friendliness, and cheer.
The property is very beautiful, however they were having important works done to the property and that was not mentioned at booking time or anytime in advance of arrival. I suggest to check in advanced to avoid disappointment.

El desayuno muy bien. Excelente servicio, buena variedad y muy sabroso. El lugar junto al jardin y el dueto amenizando, muy bonito. La ubicacion del hotal excelente.
La habitacion estaba un tanto apretada. Sugeriria quitar las tinas que son resbalosas. y que el area del lavabo estuviera un poco mas grande. Aunque entendemos que por ser un edificio antiguo, no es posible hacer algunas modificaciones.
First of all, this hotel is even more beautiful than the photos. It is truly breathtaking. Great location very walkable to many sites and amazing restaurants. Miguel at the front desk helped up organize a private excursion to Monte Alban, and our tour guide Ricardo couldn't have been more wonderful. We also had amazing service with Carlos by the beautiful pool. The hotel breakfast was delicious and very high end - it's a fancy experience. My husband was ill one of the days we were there and the hotel was very comfortable for him while he wasn't feeling well. If we ever return to Oaxaca, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed at Quinta Real for work and were very happy with the rooms, the linens, service and the exellent location. I will be back again for sure!!
Great location, blocks from everything in town. Luxurious experience, with a historic and beautiful property.
Room isn't too large, and natural light isn't optimal. They are also renovating right now, and the stairs are a bit of a challenge.
