Central location. Lovely decor and feel and very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The noise during the night. I know this is the city that never sleeps but it wasnt just the usual city noise of horns, sirens and people cheering. The worst noise was the building work opposite our room, which went through the night and was so loud it meant I had very little sleep, which you need after busy days.

The lighting 1223 was awkward. The headlights couldn’t be adjusted to read and they weren’t bright enough. The hall lights were bright but they shown in my eyes. The bathroom needs a towel rack or hooks - yes there is a hook at the top of the door for the robe

The air-conditioning is very noisy and doesn't reach the right temperature so it is either cold or hot. No coffee machine at rooms

Enjoyed our stay at the Edison Hotel. Fabulous position for getting around areas of New York. Breakfasts were a great addition both at the hotel and Carve cafe which is literally around the corner from the Edison. Wine hour was fantastic-loved the cheese and biscuits, sitting with a singer performing. Staff were polite and helpful and prompt in sorting out when water wasn’t left in our room on one occasion.
The bathroom space in the room (we had a Signature King) was small and husband banged his head on the sink whilst accessing the toilet as there isn’t much space between the two.
