Great breakfast and great location. Close to many shopping venues and places to eat.

Cons:

The bathroom was very small. The bathroom fan didn't work properly. Moldy caulking. Overall musky/grimy/sticky.

Location was convenient

Cons:

The ONLY reason I chose this property was because their website said they had a restaurant. There is no restaurant. In the lobby there are QR codes displayed for the restaurant. The qr display cards are in the rooms too! Yet there is NO RESTAURANT!!!

Pros:

Breakfast very tasty and plenty of variety. Coffee could have been hotter. But I like mine 🔥

I liked how they were accommodating, last minute booking so they didn't quite have what we needed, the Manager took the time to make sure we were as comfortable as possible.

Great stay
Pros:

Stayed valentines weekend, even though there were quite a few guests the hotel was clean and all staff were pleasant. This was our first time at a Hyatt and we would definitely book again

Wow...What a TEAM at this property! The best of the best.....
Pros:

I recently stayed at this hotel instead of my 'usual' downtown hotel because it was convenient for meetings in this area.

This hotel is one of the older HYATT PLACE properties, and is probably one of the original AMERISUITES conversions. Bathrooms are a bit smaller, as is the lobby.

Nonetheless, this property is AMAZING. Why? The team that I experienced during my brief stay.

My reception experience with CASEY last night was amazing. She was warm, informative, and simply wonderful. She could be used as the 'standard' for all front desk teams. PERFECT.

This morning, I sat in the lobby for a bit, reviewing emails and waiting for my late-morning appointment. I notice a young man (Evan) walking around repositioning chairs, cleaning entry mats, and interacting with the team. He was like the Energizer Bunny with an incredible eye for detail. He never stopped putting furniture back in place, and making sure every detail was PERFECT.

Then I witnessed a lady come into the lobby... and 'demand' help with getting to an address. She was somewhat older and a bit rude and pushy. Although she was NOT near where she needed to be and was actually on the wrong road, the front desk agent assisted her with grace and style, as if she were the most treasured client in the house.

The lady (not a guest) repeatedly asked for more assistance...actually, she demanded it, and Kaitlyn just kept assisting with a smile. She never broke her warm and welcoming care. She even walked the lady to the front door and further assisted with her directions. The lady was probably a bit scared, as she was headed to a medical appointment. Nonetheless, she was REALLY rude. Bravo to Kaitlyn. (I hope I spelled that correctly!)

In short, the team here is amazing. I once was asked to list my favorite 3 hotels in the USA for a major publication. The hotels were the Park Hyatt Chicago, the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, and a Holiday Inn Express in Tennessee. The reporter asked about the Holiday Inn. I responded that they remembered my name, were so welcoming....and remembered my Diet Coke 'addiction' by having a couple cans in my room whenever I visited. I love that hotel. The rooms were newer and spotlessly clean....But the TEAM made the difference.

The same applies to this property. I hope my travels bring me back to this part of Kentucky in the future. I will be staying HERE!
