Bathrooms are far too small and cramped. Air conditioner made a rattling noise all night.

I didn't have the breakfast ... My wife only wanted coffee and that wasn't worth $20 plus a tip in her case. ... An a la carte menu would be nice. ... Also, I requested a room with a bathtub in advance of my visit and asked again at the front desk when checking in if the room had a bathtub as I'd requested. I was told yes, it did. ... When I got to the room, no tub. Had to go back to the front desk, leaving my wife in the third floor room I'd been given and learned that there is indeed a list of rooms with tubs and the clerk simply hadn't checked. I eventually got a 4th floor room with a tub, but had to go through hoops with the desk and my luggage and changing rooms and moving floors, well ... The desk clerk should have checked in the first place and avoided the drama. No need for all of that, especially since I'd requested the tub when I made my reservation. On the plus side, I stayed at another hotel in Durham a month earlier, requested a tub, was sent to a room without one, then sent to another room (again with no tub) and finally sent to a 3rd room "guaranteed" to have a tub -- and it still didn't. I gave up after 3 tries and stayed in the room without a tub. ... So your staff was better than the one at the other hotel, although I'm really wondering if anyone pays attention to special requests or listens to the guests.

No heat in the room. Asked the front desk for blankets. For the amount you pay for these rooms, it should have working air and heat. Wife had a medical procedure performed later that morning, it would had been nice for her to had been able to rest.It appeared clean

I had to pay for daily parking. Parking is not limited at the hotel. There is no justification for this.

The check in was awful. My phone had run out of battery and the desk clerk made it difficult to find my reservation. I had paid for two rooms - one for my husband and myself and one for my son. She insisted she couldn't find my son's reservation.
I told her I was having a bad day; having left home at 6 a.m. in Colorado and forgot my backpack with computer, charging cords, etc. She said she was having a bad day too, which I thought was rude and uncalled for.
After I dug out my husband's computer, turned it on and found the other reservation, she insisted that she didn't find it initially because I didn't give her the right name. My son has the same name as my husband so I used his nickname as the first name and forgot doing so. I assumed the reservations were paired as they were both paid for by me and grouped together. She had his last name but refused to look for other guests with that name.
I also think it's unreasonable to charge for parking at this facility, which has a huge lot and is in an area where there is plenty of space.

Air conditioner leaked on floor between bedroom and bathroom, shower area was really tight, mirror magnification was a joke way too small to be of use! Was charged for parking my car in the lot!

Was charged for mutilple orders or food/drinks/large tip I never ordered. Had to call 3x to get my refund.

Property charges for parking. Most hotels in the area even better quality hotel do not charge parking fees. The bedding wasn’t clean. The sheets smelled. The room also was not cleaned when requested. I also found front desk people do not care at all. Just mechanically do their job
