If you had a car, this is a great place!
Pros:

Staff at the reception and in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious (32sqm), and the shower / hot tub functioned well.

Cons:

It is at the west edge of Durham. We needed to take a ride share everywhere we went. Unless you have a car, there might be other options you might want to explore, too.

Cons:

Loud and unpleasant. Doors slamming all night. Accosted by homeless man while unloading trunk. Afterwards, staff said I could’ve changed rooms. Who wants to change rooms at 1 AM?

Overall things were ok.
Pros:

The breakfast was ok. Our room was ok. The receptionist was really nice and accommodating for us.

Cons:

Our room was 511, and we were supposed to receive an extra bed, which we did not get, and when my sister questioned them about it they tried to be smart with her because she asked where was our cot, and they responded, they are down here by the door! The lounge chair had dirty spots all over it and the trash cans had no bags in them. We were looking for a microwave but there was none. The bed was fine. I also didn't like the fact that there was a charge for a bottle of water!

The cost was a little high and the gentleman at the desk gave us a Medstay card for a cheaper room because my husband was Duke Cancer patient and we could have had a room for $99 but we paid $146.

Not a typical Hilton experience
Pros:

King alcove room has great space! However, we could not get the room to cool off all weekend long, especially in the bedroom area, which made trying to sleep miserable, it seemed like the a/c didn't even blow in there at all. Shampoo fell off of the wall while we were in bed. Scared the daylights out of us.
Breakfast buffet is ok, decent for buffet.
There isn't truly a Starbucks, it's gimmicky, a machine with very few drink possibilities.
Front desk personnel is amazing! Especially Immaculate, as she did everything possible to help in every way.
Not the ideal quality of Hilton that I'm used to, but the employees were great and friendly!

Exemplary service!
Pros:

Recently, I needed a room at the Durham Hilton on short notice without a reservation. It is an excellent hotel and I have stayed there many times previously. However, I must give a shout out to Sierra who helped me at the front desk. She immediately accommodated all my needs in an efficient and professional manner even though I did not have a reservation. During my stay, she checked in with me to make sure my accommodations and services were satisfactory. Sierra’s excellent customer service that she shared with me made my visit, truly exceptional.

Tip notch service
Pros:

Went to Bluestone Grill for a birthday dinner and it was delicious. We had a very large party. Ravon and Julian handled the party with grace. No glass went empty and the service was top notch.

Great service and great food
Pros:

As I was on my way out to find a nice restaurant nearby (20-30 minutes away) to celebrate the life of my late sister (while being out of town for work), I was greeted by a pleasant smell coming from the bar/restaurant area. I decided I would take a peak at the menu and I was promptly welcomed by Ravon. He was very kind and informative about the menu which is helpful for an indecisive individual like myself. When the food came out it tasted as delicious as it smelled and the cocktails matched! Ravon was attentive and personable throughout my dinning experience which made it a 10/10 experience! Thank you for your kindness as you unknowingly made a heavy day just a bit lighter!

Amazing
Pros:

At the 3800 Hillsboro road Hilton hotel, it was amazing the staff was amazing, the room was amazing, super clean just how I liked it, I definitely recommend this hotel if your looking for one and the lady at the first dash was amazing as well

Restaurant food was bad, terrible pillow and could not check in until 4pm.
Restaurant is an open format close to the hotel entrance, we froze everytime someone came in
