Our stay was great as always. Breakfast was amazing.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing and so was the cook. Our room was nice but there was a wheel missing off the front room autumn in front of the couch that made it lopsided. Other than the construction going on it was great. You had an amazing guy at the front desk that checked us in on 1/23/26 that had outstanding people skills. He made sure we knew everything and had the best attitude, that we have ever experienced at a hotel. We are so sorry we forgot his name but maybe you can find out who he is and let him know how great he is. We did let him know when he checked us in.

A good mid grade Hotel
Pros:

Is a good hotel in the area, close to the restored area. Chek in staff was good as was the breakfast crew. Buffet breakfast was typical hotel but with a good variety each AM. Omlets can be made to order. Happy hour does not start until 5:30 PM. Bartender was ok. Munchies were good 1 night, very good another night and mediocre one night. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Hotel said they are doing some updates staring next week. Would stay there again.

Don’t stay here. Run down and people are rude.
Pros:

We are HHonors members and have stayed in dozens of Embassy Suites hotels. This one is the absolute worst we’ve ever stayed in. It is run down and disgusting. Our first room smelled like feet so we asked to be moved. Our second room smelled a little less like feet so we went and bought an air freshener and dealt with it. The seats in the bar area are crusted with food and the wallpaper is peeling in the rooms. To make it worse, the kitchen staff is rude and made a scene in front of other customers because they thought we went past the”AREA CLOSED” sign to have breakfast. The sign was not there when my daughter and husband sat at the booth. It was moved there before I walked over. Since I walked past the waiter assumed I took the seat after seeing the sign and walked to our table and yelled at me. So unprofessional. Stay at the Hampton. This hotel is horrible.

Not great
Pros:

Nice location and staff was super nice

Cons:

Elevator was broken so you had to wait forever for the one that worked. The roomed smelled and there were cockroaches. Also had to have the room keys redone 2 times. Stains on the couch.
