Good location!
Pros:

Very good location. The neighbourhood is nice and has good vibes. Walkable to the shopping streets and public transport. Many restaurants nearby too. Staff are really friendly.

Cons:

It's pretty small for 4 people, but okay for one or two nights. A bit sad that the checkout is 10am, which is usual in Japan. Other than these, everything is good! :D

A surprise behind the front facade.
Pros:

It was close to a lot of stations as well as the market streets and plenty of Restaurants and Convenience shops nearby. Has a shared area on 4th floor where you can keep food, refrigerate, cook, heat and eat food with all utensils supplied. You can have breakfast there if you book. Nice boutique denim shop. Laundry on the 3rd floor. Also a vending machine for drinks on the 4th floor. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. The bathroom kits like brushes, toothbrushes etc are available in the foyer by the lift if you need or want. Also a small bar fridge in room. There is a shoer and a small bath.

Cons:

The lower walls and the doors of rooms need a good wash down not just scuff marks. There needs to be a shelf of sorts for your socks, underwear etc.

Great stylish hotel in quiet district with everything you need for live (large shared kitchen, laundry, coffee shop on the ground floor, wi-fi and much more).
Absolutely good option for 2people.
We had a great time!

Heel fijn verblijf in een leuke buurt van Kyoto.
Pros:

Superrustige locatie in een fijne buurt met erg veel te bezoeken op wandelafstand. De gemeenschappelijke onsen, keuken en living vonden we een meerwaarde.

Cons:

Het aangeboden ontbijt is niet van dezelfde standaard als het hotel zelf. Dit kan en moet echt beter. Het zou ons niet tegenhouden hier opnieuw te boeken. Maar we zouden elders ontbijten.

Great choice for Kyoto
Pros:

The room we stayed in was amazing! It was in the old part of the building, and had really nice high ceilings. The decor, location, shower, and room size were all excellent. Everyone who works there is super nice too. The cafe attached to the hotel is great as well, nice coffee and breakfast and wine nights on the weekends. Will definitely stay here again next time!

Cons:

I liked everything but if I had to choose I’d say the pillows were slightly uncomfortable for me.
