Pros:

A perfect stay in Kyoto. The room design is as functional as it is beautiful and the size is very generous and bigger than I expected. The location is perfect with a lot of great dining options nearby (worth checking the hotel reccs too). Staff was friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended!

Don’t book the suit. I usually love staying here. I’ve stayed many times, but this experience was not up to standard.
Pros:

The design, and the location.

Cons:

The suit room has no block out curtains and was noisy, but it’s their most expensive room. The wifi was terrible, and the staff I told about this was very aware of the problem. She offered me a downgrade with zero apology or offer of compensation. She was innocently neglectful, but that didn’t change my feeling. I will stay again, but never in that room.
