Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach, Autograph Collection

Another incredible stay at Vespera. We had an ocean front boardwalk suite with an incredible view of the ocean, boardwalk, pool and Pismo Pier! We got lucky with an incredible room rate and an upgrade! They are renovating the Pool area bar but there was no noise or disruption aside from some paneling to hide the construction. It did not take away from the wonderful experience at all! We can’t wait to see what the new outdoor bar area becomes!

Nice resort. Our room was spacious . $50 daily parking and $45 daily resort fee not so fun

My reservation was originally at Shore Cliff, but they sent my reservations over to Vespera because Shore Cliff was remodeling. Vespera for was definitely a 5 star experience would definitely recommend it.

Great Resort and the staff was very friendly.

We’ve stayed at this hotel three times now, and each visit has been wonderful. It’s right by the beach, and they have sand toys and beach chairs, so we don’t have to worry about bringing our own. The evening atmosphere on the lawn is so relaxing. We truly adore Vespera Resort.

Best place to stay in Pismo Beach. Rooms were very nice, pool and pool bar were amazing, food was delicious, outdoor lawn seating with fire pits were awesome, walking to bars and restaurants was a breeze and easy access to the beach! Would definitely stay again!

The stay was amazing, had a great view of the beach and staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The facility was awesome. Gorgeous. The reason it didn’t get a perfect score is there was a beautiful bathtub that once filled (an hour later) the temperature was warm. I brought it up to maintenance and they refused to increase the temperature. They said it would be scalding.

The view was magnificent. The room gorgeous and spacious and beautiful. Great view of the ocean. The food delicious.

I went for a training event. The conference rooms were also perfect and comfortable. For the quality of room, comfort and view, the price was reasonable

My reservation was cancelled the week prior to my vacation, despite having booked in January. I was first informed that there was construction, then that they were oversold. I checked on other sites to see if there was availability after I was told the room I booked almost two months prior was no longer available and I found rooms on more than one external site, including American Express. The "help" I was offered by two separate people while trying to address this issue was to rebook at a nearby Courtyard Marriott, which I was encouraged to do as it would "save me money" - not an objective I had for my vacation. I was then told they could move me to a non-Marriott property next door at a lower rate. Again, not the idea I had for my vacation. The final solution was to move us to the next door location for no charge. We had a friend joining in town the first night, so we finally chose to accept that solution. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. The room was very basic, aging, and I would not even shower in the bathroom. The restaurant on property was supposed to be open until 9pm and we were rushed out by staff prior to 8pm. We decided to move to the Bacara on 3/25 for our last night and had a hope that we could receive late check out since we lost time during our vacation (and the week prior) due to the Vespera cancellation and the fact that Bacara did not even have our room ready for 4pm check in. That did not happen. I stay at Marriott properties all the time and expect a higher level of service.

The staff was very friendly from valet to front desk to bartenders. One cleaning room was excellent but other room was ignored until multiple calls made. I was given a small compensation which was nice of them.

Love staying at the Vespera. The location is great (right next to the pier) and the staff are all very polite. We were there this time for my wife’s birthday and they took extra steps to make us feel welcome and that the day was special. We will definitely be back.

Love almost everything about this place. I don’t like that they took the fire pits from the front and turned it into a dining area. The drinks from the outside bar are pricey for them being just eh. Didn’t like that o had to go to the front desk to get pool towels then one night we got tiny towels. Also an amazingly dog friendly place but they don’t have any dog bowls out for the dogs. The front desk staff is amazing and the valet guys are great! The rooms are cozy and comfortable

Everyone in the hotel from upper management to the conference room to the kitchen restaurant facilities everyone was extremely professional, and I would definitely recommend the Vespera. We hope to have our next offsite at this location again.

The Vespera Resort at Pismo Beach absolutely lived up to our expectations. The property sits right on the beach and our view from our balcony was directly at the ocean which is exactly what we wanted! It couldn't have been better - weather was perfect, the restaurant's food was fabulous especially the short ribs enchiladas and Caitlin at the front desk was extremely accommodating, very professional and customer oriented! We'll be back!
