Al Messila, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Doha

This was our second visit to Al Messila and once again, we were completely blown away by the level of service and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel welcome, valued, and completely at ease.

The reception team, especially Basem and Abhi were exceptionally attentive, ensuring our check-in and stay were smooth and enjoyable. Myhatt was incredibly helpful, always ready to answer any questions with warmth and professionalism.

The poolside assistants, particularly Faisal, went above and beyond - always attentive, friendly, and willing to make the extra effort to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. The breakfast team were also excellent - efficient, fast, and so well-organised. They made sure we were seated promptly and served with care every morning. The breakfast selection itself was wonderful, with a great variety and everything managed beautifully.

Al Messila is totally family-friendly, making it an ideal destination for families looking for both luxury and comfort. We booked 4 rooms, our parents a kids both enjoyed their stay. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the staff treat guests with genuine kindness and respect. They are very good with kids!

We had a wonderful stay once again, and without a doubt, we’ll be returning next year.

We cannot praise this Hotel enough. We had a 10 day break with 2 friends for a hot and sunny pre winter holiday.
The staff were all amazing and made our holiday complete, particularly Aasram, Ikram, Michelle in the Restaurant and Kennedy at the Pool made. our stay memorable, but all the staff were friendly and always had a smile.
Three Restaurants to choose from, the Deli Kitchen, the Persian and Indian Restaurants all served beautiful food. We were on half board and the choice for 3 courses each evening was outstanding. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels, but the breakfast at the Al Messila was undoubtedly the best, so much choice and everything freshly made to our requirements.
We were well looked after at the pool area, which was well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable with freshly laundered towels, with the bar available for drinks.
I had 2 excellent massages at the Spa, which again is a wonderful addition to the hotel, with a ladies only area for swimming and relaxing - perfect..
Our room, a basic double, was more than basic, sheets changed almost daily, towels twice a day if necessary, everything spotlessly clean, a tribute to the housekeeping staff.
We will certainly be back.

Al Melissa resort & Spa, was amazing. The staff pool gym was an amazing huge property with villas and tennis courts. Breakfast had so many choices.

My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights, and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning exterior and the impressive interiors. The hotel is situated in its own serene part of the city, away from the hustle and bustle - perfect for those seeking a sophisticated, luxurious, and peaceful getaway. Most places are easily accessible within 10 - 30 minutes via affordable Uber rides.

Throughout our stay, all staff members went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, from the entrance and lobby to the reception team. A special shoutout to the restaurant staff at the buffet breakfast, especially Ikram, Mary, and Thwin, who always greeted us with warm smiles. Ikram took exceptional care to accommodate my sister’s serious nut allergy, ensuring all requested items were freshly prepared and safe. Her attentiveness gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our meals without worry.

The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options including fresh pastries, eggs cooked to your preference, and Oriental, Indian, and continental selections. We especially loved the barista station, where you could order freshly brewed coffee or tea tailored to your taste.

Our room was spacious and cleaned twice daily, with complimentary bottled water generously provided each day, definitely much needed with the Doha heat! The pool area and surrounding spaces were immaculate and lush with greenery. We also appreciated the outdoor prayer space.

The hotel features the largest women’s spa in Doha, complete with three pools, a sauna, steam room, and experience showers. The pool staff were equally warm and attentive, always ready to assist.

We truly enjoyed our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha. We will definitely be returning!

I had such an amazing stay at Al Messila. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble for them. The resort itself is beautiful — peaceful, relaxing, and really well designed. My room was spacious and spotless, with everything I needed to feel comfortable.

The pool and gardens were a perfect place to unwind, and the spa was honestly one of the best I’ve ever been to. Food was another highlight — every meal I had was fresh and full of flavour, with great service each time.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Al Messila really made my trip special, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Doha.

My stay at Le Mesila Luxury Resort was truly unforgettable. The breakfast at Deli Kitchen International was delicious, and dinner at Raj Rasoi was simply outstanding—special thanks to Joyal for his warm service. The front reception staff were polite and kind. I also appreciate Mr. Abhiroop for his support. But above all, my heartfelt gratitude goes to Mr. Hareesh, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His professionalism, kindness, and constant care made us feel at home. Highly recommend this resort for a luxurious and memorable experience.

It was my first time in Qatar, so I chose this hotel. Luckily, it turned out to be the best hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. Everyone in the hotel is extremely friendly, always wearing a bright smile on their face, and they often ask me kindly if I need any help, which makes me truly happy from the bottom of my heart. The hotel's design is also quite outstanding, with the huge swimming pool being quite eye - catching. It's worth mentioning in particular that there is a gym specially built for women; in the afternoon, you can also enjoy hand - brewed Arabic coffee, which is quite interesting. The breakfast every day has a wide variety of choices, allowing me to eat very comfortably. Moreover, the quality of the water supplied every day is also very high.

In addition, MYAT and his Indian colleague must be highly praised. Once we had a problem with printing, they came quickly and solved it for us in a timely manner. As long as we put forward some needs, they will do their best to meet them. There's also Thomas from France. He has a high level of professionalism. Every day, he wears a well - tailored suit and greets everyone enthusiastically. In my opinion, such considerate service is more important than the hotel's facilities. When I come to Qatar next time, I will still choose this hotel.

This hotel is just fabulous! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome from Ahmed on reception. The pool staff, Sham, Faisal and Kennedy were so hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us. The service was impeccable and the pool area is clean and spacious. At dinner, our son was surprised with a pizza making experience with chef Dave and he absolutely loved it!
The staff at breakfast were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Mary was very kind to our son and made an effort to talk to him everyday, which he loved.
We will definitely be back! Thanks so much to all the staff for our wonderful stay!

We stayed at Al Messila for a month and absolutely loved the hospitality team at the hotel — it felt like one big family to us.
We often played with our daughter in the playroom.

I organised an 8oth birthday celebration in Doha and Al Messila was our group hotel for over 80 guests. No complaints whatsoever, from the rooms, to the food, the staff and atmosphere was great. I have booked another group to stay there in September 2025. Shout out to Mohammad Hoso who was an excellent 👌🏾 host and always on hand to ensure we had the best time possible. 100% recommend

We recently hosted our child’s birthday party at the kids club, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The entire event was very well managed from start to finish, making it completely stress-free for us as parents. The staff were warm, engaging, and truly went above and beyond to keep the kids entertained throughout the day.

The activities were perfectly tailored for children, with fun games, pool time, and plenty of interactive moments that kept every child happily involved. The food was another highlight—delicious, hearty, and enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. The atmosphere was lively yet well-organized, giving us the perfect balance of fun and comfort.
A very special thank you goes to Pavani, Gigi, and Amal, who made the celebration extra special with their endless energy, kindness, and professionalism. They ensured every little detail was taken care of and that all the kids felt included and had the best time.

As a die hard Accor member, having experienced the most recognised Fairmont and Sofitel experiences, Al Messilah has converted me!

I was apprehensive about the resort but chose Al Messilah over Fairmont due to its location, and I am so relieved I did because although this is our big family holiday, I couldn’t help but sloth around in the hotel and enjoy the incredible food and be absolutely spoiled by the staff for 6 whole days before we decided it was time to explore the city.

I want to congratulate the management for cherry picking the creme de la creme of service staff, echoing and reflecting nothing but exceptional customer service, personable care and and remaining true to themselves and not being robotic/fake. Just really genuine people that celebrated the hotel as much as we did our stay, well done!

On that note to recognise the staff we can not forget, ever. Khaoula was breathtakingly perfect, her smile, her welcome, her mannerisms and professionalism was perfection. I expressed my joy in the hotel and Khaoula was so informative she had arranged for an explore of the hotel in the buggy’s, for my whole family of seven persons. We highly appreciated as next time we will most definitely be interested in the villa. She also gave us the option to upgrade during our stay which I felt was incredible service (she didn’t let the process put her off but put me and my wishes first!) we sadly declined as we had the children and didn’t want to go through the stress of packing to unpack. Khaoula went above and beyond! Every time.

Laia responded to an email I had sent prior to our stay, and her personable and professionalism was taken to a whole new level when I finally met her in person. What was even more beautiful was that she remembered me and mentioned she was the person who emailed me when we first met, that’s how you make a customer feel special, the things people don’t think about, but not at Al Messilah.

Both Khaoula and Laia brought the most thoughtful gifts on our last day which really cheered us up but made us so sad to leave. Such a personal touch.

Hats off to the pool. Faisal’s smile would melt anyone’s heart. That personal welcome/and goodbye upon leaving daily into and out of the pool by he himself and then the conversation and management of care in the scorching heat by him, and in particular, Ihtisham, Kennedy and Jean Claude, wow. They see no barriers to providing an exceptional experience and they were such fun loving gents. Provided 100% privacy and respect which is not always the case by a pool, kudos to the ethics and values set out by Faisal aligned to the hotel.

Mary, Mary, Mary, how could I even go and try a new restaurant when someone so perfect serves us and makes us feel like we belong to Al Messilah. Remembering our orders every morning and we stayed for 10 whole days. Well put together and carrying the most priceless smile at all times and it can get chaotic in the restaurant especially during breakfast.

Talking of breakfast, that breakfast… wow! Chef Georges was magnificent. His mannerisms, kindness, respect and integrity shone through to his food and the array to choose from. Be gone the preconceptions of a “moody angry chef”, chef George’s is the most happiest chef I’ve ever met. Coming out to greet us daily, asking how everything is and if we need anything, wow. The Brunch was something we won’t forget either. Even at the brunch to see Chef go out and ensure with his own eyes that everything was on track, how could this food be anything but the best? Thank you to the concierge team too. Especially to Raman, Kirtiman, Frenni. So polite, such a joy to see when arriving back to the hotel. So courteous and helpful and always smiling from ear to ear.

We were so sad to leave. And what way to blow us away than a fabulous work of art done my Amzad who not only created a gorgeous swan the day we left but also decorated our bed on my husbands birthday and a vase with flowers. We had 3 rooms and Emon was so talented. He too created daily works of art for my parents and kids and he had a smile that made anyone happy.

I’ve already planned my next family holiday to incorporate a stop over at Al Messilah. We will also be doing the same whenever we fly long haul from the UK.

I had requested for a birthday gesture before we arrived. No one other than me has ever made my husband feel as special - now Al Messilah and its staff have. Cake after cake, the day ended with us resembling like a cake and in absolute food coma. Such beautiful messages and token of kindness. Singing their hearts out to my wonderful husband on his special day, it was magnificent. Thank you to Mary, Faisal, Khaoula, Laia, Amzad.

The hotel is beyond luxury, the ambience is super relaxing, the experience is next to none but your staff are THE BEST I’ve ever experienced. And an absolute credit to the hotel and its luxury brand. And I cannot commend it enough! And I also cannot wait to visit again. I genuinely hope for the best of the persons mentioned above and I hope to see them all when we return, in bigger and better roles, truly embodying the ethos, values of the hotel. They all created such unique relationships with my diverse family. Three children aged 4-12, parents one of which doesn’t speak much English and myself and my husband. Customer service is beyond speaking, it’s a language spoken through expressions, doing, kindness, feelings; emotions. Al Messilah that your team did so beautifully that I have never ever written such an extensive review like this because if anyone deserves it, it’s your hotel and your team!

We recently celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception here, and everything was beyond our expectations! From the beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make our special day smooth, elegant, and unforgettable.
• Cherry was wonderful in helping us arrange everything at the start, especially securing the ballroom. Her guidance set the tone for a stress-free journey.
• Hana was our main coordinator, and she made sure every wedding detail was handled perfectly. She was attentive, organized, and always one step ahead of what we needed.
• Tawfiq assisted with our room reservations (we had about six rooms for family). He was efficient and ensured everything was ready and comfortable.
• Ranel at the reception was incredibly accommodating, always welcoming us and our guests with warmth and a smile. He truly made everyone feel at ease.
• A special thanks to Chef Matar and Chef George, the food was absolutely amazing! They carefully considered our preferences, tailored the menu exactly to our requests, and were even present at the buffet area during the reception to personally attend to our guests’ needs. This level of care made everyone feel valued and well looked after.

Top quality people here, everyone was so professional and kind. Nothing is too much trouble, if it can be arranged, they will get it sorted without delay. Highly efficient. For example, when we got into our room the safe was not working. One call to reception and someone was there within 10 mins and it was sorted. Staff so kind and courteous -we were given such respect from everyone. We enjoyed the vibe at the pool which was so relaxing. The pool staff were actually the best, really kind guys!! Breakfast was also great, such a large variety. Would definitely come back to stay when in Doha. If you are thinking about booking this place, do not hesitate!
