Location in the middle of town. Use of golf cart very helpful. Very reasonable fee.

The room was very spacious and location was great! Breakfast was good as well.

All staff members were friendly and helpful. Suite was very clean, bed was comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast had a great selection in a clean, comfortable dining area- much more than just a continental breakfast. Location is excellent, right on the ocean and very close to dining and shopping. Will definitely stay there again the next time we're in VA. Beach!

Clean, nice sized rooms, breakfast

My 13 yo and I decided to try out VA Beach for Spring Break 2026 since we've never been. After thorough research, I decided on Coastal and it did NOT disappoint! We parked in the 15 minute spots out front to check in, check out the room and then unload, using one of many luggage carts available. Once settling in, we moved the car to level 5 of the parking garage, which put us one floor below our room. The 5th floor was well lit, security cameras were visible and the room key is needed to enter the hotel from the garage. Oh, and did I mention that parking is included?

The room was SPACIOUS! I always like to have separate areas when we travel. Upon entry, the smaller room is what you come to first. It has plenty of lighting, outlets, storage and a tv. The bathroom is also large with PLENTY of counter space. The hair dryer wasn't hidden in a drawer somewhere, but mounted on the wall AND there was a night light on it. I LOVED that! If I don't remember to bring one, then I have to leave the light on in the bathroom, which is usually so disturbingly bright because even though you may crack the door, it ends up swinging back open. This way, it was just bright enough to light the way to the bathroom in the pitch dark room, without disturbing anyone's sleep. Kudos to whomever thought of that! In between the two rooms is a little food area with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee station and small sink. The main bedroom can be closed off with a barn style door and faces the beach/ocean/boardwalk. It is very bright and large. Both rooms have a King bed with two end tables. The main room has a tv as well and a comfy arm chair for reading/relaxing. The balcony was large and had two plastic chairs and a side table.

The lobby is very large and extremely clean. We didn't use the pool, although we planned on it. The breakfast area had a great view, the staff was amazing and the food was surprisingly good. They had self serve waffle irons, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese omelettes, breakfast potatoes, grits, cereal, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, etc. My only complaint was that I wish the coffee cups were larger.

The hotel itself was in a decent location, although we didn't do too much in the area. I doubt we'll head back to VA Beach, but we know plenty who do, so I will definitely recommend this hotel.

PROS: location, spacious suite with separate bedrooms, oceanfront with large private balcony, excellent housekeeping, breakfast and front desk staff, really clean, free parking, free breakfast.

CONS: I wouldn't even call this a CON, but a suggestion would be to 1. have bigger coffee cups/brew size for the coffee machine 2. Replace the coffee machine in the lobby with one like the breakfast room. My daughter wanted hot chocolate, but since it was after 9:30am, she couldn't get it because the breakfast area was closed. Speaking of breakfast, it's only open 7:30-9:30 during the week and until 10am on weekends. I think 7-10am daily would be more convenient, but it worked fine for me during this trip.
