great hotel, amazing staff
Pros:

staff were amazing so helpful and kind

Cons:

Marriot need to curb the amount of plastic used - no need for all the single use at breakfast - use proper cutlery , plates etc. i was shocked at the lack of responsible sustainability

For what we paid, I would not stay here again
Pros:

We liked the breakfast and they make your own waffles.

Cons:

The room we were first put into smelled like cigarettes. The elevators sounded like they were going to break down at any second.

Pros:

There was a hole in the carpet when I stepped out of the elevator. Had to pay either $35 or $42 to park on top of the room. The room was expensive. If I was not a rewards member I would not have stayed. The staff was pleasant and friendly however

Would recommend but not a room on the west side of the building
Pros:

We were very close to a T station that took us directly to PNC Park. Transit was free to and from PNC Park. Starbucks just down the street. The downtown area is easily accessible by foot. Excellent breakfast with lots of food choices.

Cons:

Our room faced west. At 3:45am every morning the trash pickup truck would empty the large trash bins at the building next to ours and make a ton of noise doing so. It woke us up on both nights.
