Pros:

There was a hole in the carpet when I stepped out of the elevator. Had to pay either $35 or $42 to park on top of the room. The room was expensive. If I was not a rewards member I would not have stayed. The staff was pleasant and friendly however

I love Pittsburgh and I would use this hotel again on my next visit.
Pros:

The room was great, loved the water view. Breakfast was great as well, made the stay better. Staff was friendly and personable. Liked the location. I wish I had stayed longer so I could've had a chance to use the gym but it looked well equipped.

Cons:

I called for my car to be brought up to the valet at the end of my stay and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes, 15 minutes later I went down and the staffer at the valet stand hadn't heard anything about my car. It only took 5 mins for him to go get my car, so it wasn't a long wait, but there was a drop in communication.

Would recommend but not a room on the west side of the building
Pros:

We were very close to a T station that took us directly to PNC Park. Transit was free to and from PNC Park. Starbucks just down the street. The downtown area is easily accessible by foot. Excellent breakfast with lots of food choices.

Cons:

Our room faced west. At 3:45am every morning the trash pickup truck would empty the large trash bins at the building next to ours and make a ton of noise doing so. It woke us up on both nights.

I wouldn't stay again.
Pros:

Room was OK'ish. Lobby was clean.

Cons:

Breakfast was just OK. Beds were very soft. Shower was weak and moldy. Staffing was thin. Valet refused to leave his desk until his phone told him we had paid for our room and parking. Rate was high.

Very clean and comfortable.
Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff

Cons:

Huge crush of people at breakfast. Ran out of food items such as oatmeal early on and didn’t replace some of them. The attendant hustled to keep up with demand but it was a challenge to do so.

Fantastic location with friendly staff
Pros:

The staff, especially the doorman whose Dad was an architect, were just so friendly. The room was spacious and the breakfast generous. Loved the balcony with views over the river. SUCH a convenient location for everywhere in Pittsburgh.

Cons:

Nothing, for once I was REALLY impressed.
