Pros:

A reasonably priced room in an excellent place, very close to 3 underground lines and several shops. The room was spacious and fitted with everything that was needed (kettle, microwave, iron, hairdryer, etc.). The communal toilets were clean.

Cons:

The windows could not close tightly so the apartment was quite drafty; I imagine the upstairs room would also be very hot in summer with no AC. The water controls in the shower were difficult to set to a comfortable temperature (it was either cold or scalding).

I bagged a cheap stay in the down season, I got what I paid for.
Pros:

Rooms were well equipped, thought had been put into this. I appreciated the washing up facilities, the mug and cutlery. The shower was clean and the hot water worked. The location was good. It was a quiet neighbourhood, there was a lot of noise transfer from the other rooms in the building but this quietened down by 11pm.

Cons:

The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable, springs sticking up - I was unable to sleep. On night two I realised the mattress was upside down and corrected it to have the soft aspect at the top. Unfortunately it had clearly been put upside down for a reason - the level of visible stains. I slept on my towel.

El alojamiento está bien de precio, y el sitio donde está ubicado tiene ambiente y se siente seguro.

Cons:

Se podría mejorar la limpieza, en especial la de las sábanas. Además, en el cuarto de baño de la habitación no hay lavabo, hay que usar el fregadero.

From the photos, the place already looked quite bad and our expectations were low, but in reality it was even worse than we imagined.

First of all, the bed sheets and towels were clearly not properly washed. I had to wipe the dust off the side tables myself. The microwave had not been cleaned at all and smelled terrible. The shower curtain looked like it hadn’t been washed since the day it was installed. When you lift the toilet seat, you can immediately see that the underside has not been cleaned due to the visible dirt. The furniture was very old and heavily worn.

I had seen some reviews mentioning that the room was cold, but this issue seems to have been resolved. During our stay, the room was actually quite warm.

My advice: even if the alternatives you find are £100 more expensive, choose the alternative instead.
