Great room with a River view. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful meeting all our needs. The breakfast buffet was great with a great variety of selections that varied day to day. This is our go to hotel when staying in Jambi.

A strategic place in Jambi city, it's next to the WTC mall and the Gentala Arasy bridge, the breakfast tastes ordinary and lacks variety.

The rooms are old style and to dirty but the staff are friendly.
For those visiting Jambi for the first time, it is recommended to stay here because it is the city center and close to everywhere and cheap of room rate.

Wiltop Hotel provide complimentary shuttle service from Airport, the room were spacious and I got an upgrade to a room with River View overlooking the Batanghari River.

It has all of the essentials that you would need during your stay. The staff were courteous, friendly and never hesitate to help when we approached them.

All in all, it was a terrific stay. Would definitely stay here during next visit.

We stay at this hotel with some work colleagues. Very friendly staff, we specially like the restaurant , great shabu shabu , i was amaze by the view on the river

This hotel is so old build, The lamp also doesnt pleasant, very dimp. The interior of the room feels too oldie. I choose this hotel because of the river view only, nothing else, But I will reconsider it again in future to come here because this hotel really need renovation.

The lobby small but calm and fresh, loved the greyish long couch and maroon chairs, A truly charming lobby.
Also the location which complex with WTC mall with Strbcks, XXI consisted is the big value to return. Staff were friendly and attentive.

We stay during the holiday. The staff s very friendly, great view on the river with the shopping mall next door. The location is great. The room is very specious and the breakfast is great, with a good selection. We ll come back.

Went to Jambi in a scramble, didn't get the time to choose and book a hotel. There are some other hotels nearby but fully booked by some institutions. Arrive at the area I was calmed because the hotel sat next to a mall. Arriving at the lobby at ground floor was another story, looked like an old dirty shop-house. I was guided to go to 3rd floor where the reception located. The elevator was dark, shabby and smell dusty and 3rd floor was the same. It was 10pm so I gave my luck a single shot, if I couldn't tolerate the room then I would GTFO of this Wiltop Hotel. Apparently luck was on my side, i was surprised to see the room was in very different ambiance than the lobby and reception area. No ugly scent, good lighting, good furniture, good AC. Wifi was average, 42" cable TV, hot shower, decent enough for me to stay 2 days there.
Breakfast was decent with several dishes and fresh fruits. Don't expect food galore or special tasty menu, they were all standard and a bit tasteless to me. The only good point from the restaurant is the Batanghari river scenery from outdoor area, nothing else. This hotel can be much better by simply renovating the lobby and reception, and to improve menus.

Stayed for a night during my visit in Jambi City. The hotel location is very good where beside the shopping mall and Batanghari River view in the restaurant balcony. The staffs also helpful when we asked for extra bed in our twin room. The breakfast was good, but should be more various. The room is big enough but troubled in air-conditioner at the night, little bit noisy. Nothing to complain except the elevator, it is too small and they have only one! Overall just good stay there and do not expect too much.

Although from the outside looks very simple, when we go up to the loby on the 3rd floor, it just shows the class. Than I took a room River View on the 5th floor

Awesome.... what a beautifull view, nice landscape view from the terrace and very comfortable sitting relaxing with a cup off coffee and looking at the activity of the river and view the bridge Gentala Arasy that stretches across the river accompanied by a cozy atmosphere of the room, it’s making me feel more comfortable.

The hotel is so great. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is so good. The restaurant has a beautiful scenery of Batanghari River. The location is next to mall and it has own access to the mall from the hotel.

Stay for two days business trip, the hotel very old, and totally unpleasant nights. Get trouble with the air con even the service person came to repair it but its still not work properly the air con keep on and off, the hot water is not coming out and the most irritated was the noise of construction (i think) for whole night!! Its very disturbing!!!

It is a personal experience for me as a business traveler, the experience might be different from person to person and some people might like it. This is a cheap hotel with cheap service. The exterior of the hotel is not good and inviting. Once inside, the interior is bland and just serves basic functionality. The room is clean but again, it just serves basic functionality. What I can't stand is all rooms are smoking rooms and at night even though you are not smoking, you will be able to smell it from the air circulation, might be from the vent that is connected to outside or all the other rooms. The breakfast is very simple and tastes alright. I will never come back.

On June in this year i come back at Jambi for my business and i choose this hotel because their location very near with WTC Mall Batanghari, so i'm very easy if i need dinner or snack. But i hope this hotel can improve about service, especially when breakfast time and during i need help for laundry. I also say thank you because this hotel can help guest when go to airport

I am a solo traveller and i stayed at this hotel from June 24,2016.The location is ok..next to the shopping mall.But..i experiences the most terrible service upon breakfast.When im standing and waiting for someone to serve me,2 of the service staffs were busy chit chatting.Its 8.30am in the morning.When i asked if someone's gonna cook the omelette for me,then the service staff come and help.I am ok with that.but when i wanted to get some fruits for my breakfast,its empty.so,i stand and wait for the service staffs as their really busy chit chatting inside the bar.A guy named Robi saw me standing for quite long,but he ignored me.he's busy talking with the other service staff,her name is Yani.(i get the name from one of the trainee,aprigustinus).I am really so upset because i really expected i get a better service than evan hotel where i previously stayed.its only 1 star hotel but the spirit and their service is really 5 stars.while your hotel get 3 stars with this kind of standard?Its killing me more when the wifi connection really hard to get connect!!!!!!Bad experiences ever..i dont get to see Euro 2016 as well as the staffs told me the channel have problem.So,this is what 3 stars hotel served you while you can get everything much better in 1 star hotel??? I am sharing my experience,so in future you all know which hotel worths your money.Dissappointed.I hope the GM read this so he/she know what need to upgrade.

The first time i stayed in this hotel on March 2016 and I think need a lot of upgrade in hotel room. the hotel room look shabby, cold and a little bit dark. The condition of air conditioner is very bad. The breakfast menus is very limited with the poor taste.

The management should upgrade the facilities, so the Guests keep coming back. The Hotel have good location for business.

This hotel was recommended by our counterpart in Jambi because of its location adjacent to Mall WTC.
On first day we were quite impressed with the terrace of the restaurant to dine in with its open-air riverside view. But the next day and days after, there was a strong smell from the waste plant nearby. How can a waste plant be constructed in a location next to a restaurant and just below some executive guest rooms?
The room was quite large with riverview, and wifi works okay sometimes.
Breakfast though was considerably dull. They charge you for asking some small milk for the coffee at the breakfast buffet!
Service and maintenance of the hotel needs to be upgraded.

I've stayed here three times and, apart from the first time when the AC had broken down, found it very convenient. Next to a mall, short walk to the pasar, 24-hour resto (with cold beer!), comfortable bed and well-furnished rooms, helpful staff. All good.

Tips: If you need quiet to sleep, ask for a room away from the front; traffic noise seeps in (I quite like it).

I just got back from Jambi today, I stayed in Wiltop Hotel because my colleague recommend this hotel. I think this is an old hotel, deluxe room has Sungai Batanghari view, the breakfast was nice and delicious. The only problem is the room. Since it is an old hotel some lamps did not work, I complained but no actions. The location was fantastic since it is located beside WTC Mall (the largest mall in Jambi). Would stay here again because of the location.
