Super staff, hotel with excellent ambience.
Pros:

My first time here, and I was very impressed with this well maintained classic old hotel. Will take advantage of some of the amenities next time.

Cons:

Was only there for two nights, but love the bed, and the shower that blasts.

Pros:

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the hotel had all the amenities of a four star. The Metro was two blocks away which was very convenient to get to universal studios, Hollywood walk of fame, and downtown. The staff was very friendly and attentive which made our stay really pleasant. It’s an old hotel but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the rooms.

Cons:

The location was not family friendly but it’s LA not the Hotels fault. The area has lots of local foods and restaurants but don’t walk you will see things a 12 year old shouldn’t see until he/she is 21.

Nice hôtel, old but renovated.

Cons:

Dirty and unsafe street so you have to use the parking and it’s $89 for two nights. There were people pooping on the street across from the hôtel.
Swimming pool was cold, what is the point!?? Breakfast overly expensive.

Location Micheal and Pil and the other lady Receptionist was Excellent and Customer Service from
Them was first class
Wish we could have said the same for the Night Manager he was damn right rude we are all in our 60s and the way he spoke to us . U had to leave the pool area by 8 then the courtyard by 10 pm .But fhe Arrogance and tone we did inform the day staff the following morning and they were very unbeatable and noted our complaint

Expensive and Crap
Pros:

Location, proximity to metro

Cons:

The room had bugs and mosquitoes, sauna was awful, cost for parking was hidden $43 a day. It was hard to sleep, the hotel was noisy with traffic and pipes. You could hear your neighbors bathroom flush and showers. Is more like a motel. It should be cheaper.
