Decor in the rooms, bar and restaurant
Food was poor quality. We ate at the Grill one night and all the dishes were very salty. We hardly ate anything and providing the feedback didn’t result in any price reductions or dishes being removed from the bill. The breakfast was very poor. The buffet had stale croissants and no fruit. Limited selection. The eggs were rubbery and overcooked- it seems like they were cooked on a microwave.
The service was slow and items were forgotten.
The location is not great. Quite a hike into town and it’s a bit of a grimy area.
My mum came to stay at the hotel too and I had booked a room for her which they couldn’t find in their booking list. The person at the front desk was rude and indifferent and refused to confirm that I was staying at the hotel despite the fact that I had mentioned her arrival when I checked in. It was a bad start
