Carpet very dirty discussing to walk
The staff were amazing. Really friendly and attentive.
The bathroom sinks were just not quite as clean as they should be - it didn't spoil our stay
Location was great, right next to the train station and the inside was great, bed was comfy and staff were really friendly
Got really warm in the night and the air con was locked so could only change it to 19 degrees as the lowest, which was still to warm
The hotel design is unique and very welcoming.
Cleaning was horrendous, and the woman cleaning our room couldn’t have been more miserable
Location clear & housekeeping
Nothing
Best place to stay when in Manchester. Their team was amazing and the car valet is a cherry on top.
Location, decor and fitout of the rooms were nice
We booked a deluxe suite at a cost of nearly £500 a night. Paid an additional £45 extra for early check in by 1pm and valet parking.
Whilst the room its self was lovely, it wasn't ready at 1pm and we were told to come back later when we first arrived, Id ordered £125 bottle of champagne and rose petals as a 'finishing touch' as it was a special occasion.
The champagne was there, however there were no champagne glasses in the room and had to ask.
Was also no bottle opener in the room, which we had to ask for, despite minibar being full of bottles which require a bottle opener to open.
We then had a knock about an hour after having the bottle opener dropped at the room asking for it back? 😂
Paid for valet parking, and had to park up, go in the hotel and tell them I had arrived as there was no valet team outside to greet you, take your bags or lower the bollard to even get in. Defeating the point of valet parking.
When we went for a first attempt to check in (1PM) they stored our bags which I assumed would be taken up to the room for when we eventually got in there. It wasnt, and had to go back down and grab it myself.
May seem like all small niggly things, and whilst the staff were nice, they do add up and detract from the overall experience, especially at a total cost of nearly £700 for one night.
The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, well presented to a high standard and beautifully decorated. The staff were amazing - they upgraded our stay as it was our first year wedding anniversary and, because the room they gave us had a slight problem with the sink, they upgraded us further to a room with a little outside seating area which was absolutely amazing. One member of staff in particular, Mark, went out of his way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. He couldn’t have done enough for us and he was the reason we were upgraded following an issue with the sink. We couldn’t have asked for better service and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Nothing at all.
Water was cold
Love the location, extremely comfortable rooms, soundproof, temperature and fabulous staff who are always there to make your stay five star.
Some of the rooms air conditioning were not working on the first night but they were fixed and with excellent customer service.
