Parndana Hotel

New furniture in room was nice & bed was comfy , definitely need an extra blanket though . Kitchen wasn’t clean , light globes need replacing , floors needed cleaning & outside was very dirty . Fantastic staff & food at the pub .

Average accommodation but near to good pub

Cabin had been half renovated. Once completed it will be very nice. Very quiet bush setting.

The apartment was a cabin in the caravan park next door. It was clean & comfortable & there was easy access to the hotel & local bakery for meals. Check in was easy. I accidentally overpaid but this was quickly refunded.

The property was clean and tidy with all the amenities one expects and the service from all was pleasant, very helpful and never a worry.

Bra övernattning i egen stuga med två sovrum och vardagsrum. Alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter Finns och det är rent och prydligt.

Vi blev sena till incheckningen då det tog längre tid att köra än vi förväntat oss men det löste de galant i receptionen.

Do not stay at this hotel. We arrived after dark, its very poorly lit, front desk was closed and had to check in at the BAR. Upon arriving, the person at the bar informed me that the Orbitz rate I paid was only for 1 person, although my reservation clearly states 2 guests/2 bedroom cabin, we went back and forth for several minutes in her attempt to get me to pay double. Finally stating that her manager wasnt there and she would just give me the key. As mentioned before the property is very poorly lit so the cabin was hard to find. Upon entering, the heater was broken, the stove is extremly rusted, bathroom and light fixtures were dirty and dusty. After 2 min deliberation, we returned the key to the bar and mentioned that we weren't comfortable staying here. Our only option being to drive back across the entire island we ended up staying in a cheaper resort lodge that was much better. Not only did they try to make me pay double on arrival but they refuse to refund the 1 night stay. Ive never run into this issue before but if I owned a hotel and had a guest this disappointed and uncomfortable with the accomodation, I would refund their stay. Save your time and money and stay somewhere else, The Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge was worth the 45
minute drive back across the island. For less cost, Amazing service and very nice rooms.

I enjoyed the open space, peaceful and quiet. The evening meals at the hotel were A1, good value. A great base from which to explore the island without to much back tracking.

This hidden gem would have to be the best value on KI -- particularly if you stay in one of the two cabins on the property, although the camping facilities were just as good. The pub food and environment adjacent to the accommodation was excellent too, with friendly staff and very generous meals for the low price.

The meal at night was fine.
However as they had 'double booked' we didn't stay there.
They did offer alternative accommodation elsewhere for 2 nights
