Fantastic hotel near to Dar es Salaam Airport

A bit overpriced, I have stayed in Tiffany Diamond Hotel, located at Indira Gandhi Street, Dar es salaam. They are charging less and their room and facilities are TOP NOTCH.

Pros:

It was close to the airport as we only had a couple of hours to rest before our next flight
And they have free shuttle

Cons:

The hotel reception looks old ,very smelly
The rooms are not clean ,my wife and kids were uncomfortable staying there
Something stinged them while sleeping probably bed bugs

We absolutely would not recommend this hotel. Rather sleep on a chair at the airport.

Cons:

Everything else. It was exceptionally dirty. Dirtiest bathroom we have ever seen. Floors stained yellow - toilet not flushed. No towels. Dirty eating area. We dirty old and worn bedding that didn’t fit the bed. We slept on top of our clothes.

Pros:

Decent hotel, close to the airport.

Cons:

Airport transfer was not properly arranged, driver was not there when the guest arrived, even though it was confirmed before. Also the booking was not found at the hotel, which lead to a lot of confusion while checking in.

When addressing this, no apologies were given by the staff.
