Close to the beach
For what you get the prices are through the roof
The front door was incredibly noisy
Comfortable and great location and the added bonus of it being associated with the hotel across the road with access to bar and restaurant
Couldn’t find any fault at all
Very comfortable beds and shower
The £150 deposit you had to put in, I been to many hotels but never heard of such a high deposit in a low price town!!
The view from the patio over the sea.
The fact that we were given a ‘lodge’ in a building across the road from the hotel which we didn’t know would be the case. The room itself wasn’t too bad but the wash basin was all cracked and the tap was well past its sell by date. I wasn’t keen on the choice at breakfast and the teapots/coffee pots were not very clean. The entrance porch is very tired looking and the dining area wasn’t particularly clean.
Staff were absolutely lovely, hotel room was nice and cot was provided which was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.
Breakfast was as lovely as I remembered from last year. Restaurant staff were very friendly n polite. Although we only had 1 evening meal as I found selection was not broad enough for my special needs child plus it was quite pricey. Local shops were good n nearby.
Our room was quite small for 3 people which made it very hot especially at night luckily there was a fan but we had to have that on all night which was quite noisy. Furniture was old n tired n decor needed updating main bed was lumpy mopping socket next to main bed. Bathroom towel was rusty n hanging off the wall no mirror above sink no toothbrush holder holes in door had been filled but not painted over grouting in shower needs redoing in places. Plug in sink was going abit rust. We stayed for 6 nights but I had no linen change despite me asking on the 4th day. The bannister on the stairs was wobbly. There was a big smell of poo when we opened our front door. Windows are old n rattly needs painting as no double glazing.
It was so close to the pier
It was so noisy at night, none of us got any sleep
Loved the location and staff are very friendly and nice.
It was freezing in the room, only 2 plug sockets in the whole room & the fan didn’t work in the bathroom.
