Location only 20 mins walk to town center and free street parking nearby. Clean comfy room and bed, it had a na/c machine in room that helped but was noisy. Good host.
Bit tatty and dirty on the entrance and stairs. More like a bedsit.
The location was ideal for visiting our friend based in Pontcanna. Cathedral Road is a lovely area and a short walk into the town centre. Coffee shops and local co-op less than 5 minutes' walk away. Essam was friendly and welcoming in showing us to each of our rooms (the budget one and the normal double). It was great to have use of a shared kitchen as well. The room was well equipped and clean - the sheets/towels smelled amazing. I was in the budget double and found it very comfortable - mattress softer than I'd personally like but not a problem. Even though Cathedral Road can be busy the rooms were well insulated from any outside sound so it was nice and quiet.
It is very clean, we even got a free upgrade because the bigger room was not being used! Very nice man who greeted us upon arrival and showed us around in our room. There's a little kitchen you can use as well.
Nothing bad to say about this stay.
Location is good; near a small convenience store and a few cafe which opens early to grab coffee. Easy street parking around. The host was nice enough to stick around past the hotel check-in hours to receive us.
Although the room is large, the photos on booking is not reflecting the true condition of the property. The couch in the room wasnt really clean and the shower curtain needs to be replaced as it is moldy. Not sure why other commenters here said its super clean. Maybe my room #3 is an exception.
