Room not ready when I arrived. Loud noise at night
The distance to the post office which is were the wedding was for the evening. The price of the location..
The bed was too soft which made for an uncomfortable nights rest. The shower hot/cold knob came off and we had to call maintenance to fix.
Very clean , and great view
I told them to make it special and they did not ,
It was clean. Staff was nice.
The rooms were kind of small. The Bar ran out of chicken wings and other foods. Not alot of restaurants near by.
The stuff weren't all that welcoming....
The stuff members seemed like they were forced to be there....
Came into town for a wedding and Unfortunately, our stay was not a pleasant experience. The housekeeping staff was rude and unhelpful, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. Customer service can truly make or break a stay, and this was disappointing.
We were also unable to get clean towels from the front desk when we needed them, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Basic amenities should be readily available to guests.
To make matters worse, the bed was very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, this was not a good experience, and I would probably not recommend this hotel to others. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and works on improving both service and comfort.
No breakfast
The unit for heat was directly above the head of the bed and was LOUD. Woke us up repeatedly. The soap in the shower was EMPTY. Considering we were there for sleep and shower, it failed.
Good Evening,
I just wanted to leave a STELLAR review for the front desk staff that helped out the weekend of Feb 6th-8th. My daughter was married that weekend and almost all of our guests stayed at the hotel. We had a wonderful time and although we were checking out on the 8th, quite a few of us extended our stay until the 9th so we could watch the Super Bowl Locally and we decided to do that at YOUR hotel mostly in part to the great customer service we received. Attonayo Branch answered all our questions, was incredibly friendly and helpful We spent the evening at the bar drinking and one of our guest left a very expensive coat. He went out of his way THE NEXT DAY to find me in the lobby so that he could return the coat to me knowing that it belonged to someone in our group. That's honesty and integrity that you don't find at all hotels. Ruth, Lamonica and Jennifer also crossed paths with us and they too were exceptionally helpful and had the patience of a saint as our kids frequented the snack and soda area and charged to our room. I just cannot say enough good things about Attonayo and the team for making our hectic, chaotic wedding weekend feel a little more peaceful and relaxed. I appreciate everything their teams did for us
Room 905. Outside of door looked pretty beat up and gave a bad 1st impression. Mirror in entry way looked like it could've been cleaned better. Shower had dirt or something that looked like mold in tiles and border. Seal at bottom of shower glass was broken so water ran out onto floor. Some previous user squirt lotion on floor/wall area from lotion holder near sink and it had not been cleaned. Some stain on sink drawer. Old toilet with button on top of tank instead of a lever on the side. I forgot to get a picture of this on the way out but the sprinkler in entry was HOARDING dust, and a man of average height could easily reach it to clean it... All of this made me lose comfort in the cleanliness of the bed even though the rest of the room appeared to be clean, except for the spot on the wall that looked like something splashed on and ran down it near the bed lamp. The AC vent was right above the bed and was loud. Too much light shined under the door from the hallway...
They don't take cash. Breakfast: chicken sausage was way overcooked, waffles were really just biscuit mix poured on a waffle maker and were rather crunchy, and you can't fix your own drinks which was bad because my apple juice was warm and I would've had to wait for the waiter for a drink change. Convenient location for on-foot exploring. Jennifer at front desk was awesome and is THE reason my review was able to reach 3 stars. Other than that, I wouldn't want to stay again for the price, especially with breakfast being $18/person/day and parking $13/night.
The receptionist were very welcoming and helpful specially Ruth
The location was good
The cleanness of the rooms, when the house keepers clean the rooms they don’t clean it very well even fixing the beds were very bad compared to any hotel
Good
At the end of breakfast, the servant gave the bill to the guess to add the amount of tip for the servant.
Location was great
The shower had no pressure.
The best thing the 🛌 the location 🙌🏿👍🏿everything around 👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿
The pool section was closed
On the water and convenient halfway point in our trip to OBX
There was a prom and another function happening at the same time within the bldg and a lot going on. I wasn’t able to get the buffet breakfast like last year but, they did cook small breakfasts to eat in the bar area. ( I was looking forward to the buffet) there was a function in that room. Very difficult getting in to check in due to prom activity but, we made it. Loud, loud car revving of engine and racing around that evening disturbing the peace as we ate at the brewery on the dock beside the hotel. I am very please at check-in that our lady gave us the 9th floor to be away from all of the noise and chaos. It satisfied why we were staying mid point in our trip.
