Staff checking us in were great. They put us together , as we requested, and we were able to check in a bit early. Large pool and they have a pool snack bar.
They were having a bit of trouble with the snack bar orders but think they were a little under staffed and they were trying.
Will and Gordie—so helpful!
They went above and beyond and really made a difference. Thank you so much!
Kean on the front desk was really friendly and really went out of his way to provide us assistance. Good job by the entire staff overall.
We had a quick stay at the Renaissance and would have liked to spend more time there. The premises were well kept, and the room was clean, large, and conducive to relaxation. The pool area was excellent, and our toddler had a blast. The place was chill even though there were kids, which was nice. We parked off premises to avoid the fee, and we liked that we could walk nearby to get dinner.
Could not get housekeeping at all. Several times went to front desk asking for housekeeping and they said will set up. But I never could get. When I asked the housekeeping, they never had me on the list. I just had to grab a towel and soap off the cart. Never once had coffee. Stayed 5 days and just poor service. Very unhappy as a Marriott member.
I'm a long time Bonvoy member but this place does not cut it. The place is an old, grey, conference hotel in need of a makeover. There was poor water pressure, and terrible Wi-Fi in the room. The suites are a looong way from the elevators and have small windows looking at a dreary parking lot. Several items indicate poor maintenance: window screen torn in multiple places, mildew around the tub, a broken receptacle in the bathroom, and a toilet seat ready to fall off. The fitness center was ok but had no sanitizing wipes or spray. The lobby was nice but noisy. The only positive is that the staff were very nice.
The concierge Gordie (I think) was a big help when I checked out and had to get to the airport.
Pool was great, rooms could be updated but good.
Close to downtown dining. Property was clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding establishments.
Paying for self parking
Excellent Staff at front desk and at bar. Great live entertainment. Nice crowd!
I think the handicapped rooms should have a walk-in shower. Any person who needs this room because their disability should not have to climb into a bathtub (which is already equipped) with a fold-down seat and grab-bars…ONCE you get in! Very disappointed to see that. Also, the shower in general needs re-caulking.
Location to downtown palm springs. The room was nice
AC very noisy, jacuzzi not fully working and very limited pool & spa hours, especially for a weekend.
