The room was nice and comfortable, and the hotel was close to amenities.
There were 2 things that kind of spoiled it. Number 1 the pool is not heated as they stated on their listing. The have a bartender that needs to learn how to make drinks. We set at the bar and my wife ask for a drink and all he could do was act like he was concentrating and made up a bunch of ingredients which pretty much tasted terrible. We just moved on as it shouldn't be hard to learn drinks as a bartender.
The location was great! Staff was helpful and kind.
I have been attending the CUE conference every March for the past 10 years. Whether an attendee in sessions held at the hotel/convention center or for the past 4 years as a guest of the hotel, this is truly a wonderful Renaissance. This year, before heading to the hotel, I contacted the Renaissance and asked if they would be able to do anything special to surprise my sister for her birthday. Without hesitation, Gordie (concierge) elevated the experience by providing champagne, a personalized birthday card, and decor to surprise my sister upon her arrival in her room. Additionally, he checked in with us and asked if there was anything else he can do to continue to make the experience special. THANK YOU Gordie!
I enjoyed the pool area though you do need some new lounge chairs. All staff I had contact with were fantastic. especially the Front desk (Justun S and Gordon the concierge)
Outside the toilet in my room not flushing properly, the rest of my experiences in the hotel was wonderful.
My stay at the Marriott was wonderful from beginning to end. Kean provided a welcoming and friendly check-in experience that set the tone for my visit. At departure, Fern ensured a smooth and efficient check-out. Their professionalism and kindness truly enhanced my stay.

Their kindness and positive energy made check-in smooth and set the tone for our entire stay. It’s rare to meet staff who make you feel so valued and at home.
The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every detail — from the atmosphere to the service — showed true hospitality.

From the moment my friend and I checked in we knew we would have a great experience. Gordie and Kean had fantastic energy and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay! They are the best front office/concierge staff we have ever had at a hotel and we travel often! I have to give a massive five-star shoutout to Kean at the front desk of the Renaissance Hotel! Checking into a hotel after traveling can sometimes feel like a chore, but Kean made it an absolute highlight. He was incredibly personable, friendly, and witty right from the start. Staff checking us in were great. They put us together , as we requested, and we were able to check in a bit early. Large pool and they have a pool snack bar.
They were having a bit of trouble with the snack bar orders but think they were a little under staffed and they were trying.
Garrie, Fern, Kean, and Ximenea were amazing staff and made our trip so much fun!
