Location good for my stay
So difficult when an owner really cant charge enough to do the work that desperately needs doing. Simple things like water glasses and a box of tissues in the bedroom would not cost much. A bedside light each side of the bed? The TV was above the bed behind your head!!
Good quality sausages can make a breakfast! And the hotel was apparently full but the coffee machine not available for a decent cup of coffee at breakfast. What was served out of the coffee jug was undrinkabke.

Welcoming staff and good food and drink
The staff were very kind and helpful. Food in the restaurant was decent both at dinner and breakfast.
The bed was terrible. The sheet was so thin and threadbare you could clearly see the mattress through it and was lumpy and hard. The room smelled like a basement. Water pressure in the shower was very weak. Walls are very thin so we could clearly hear the snoring in the next room.
Conveniently located for Moray and Inverness, a very comfortable country hotel which is super dog friendly. The staff were so helpful, relaxed and attentive. We had dinner and breakfast: excellent meals. We went back for the steak night. The venison was brilliant!
As long as you are content with a friendly comfortable country style, you’ll be happy.

Lovely, spacious room. Amazing bath
We were in the Ty et suite which is a lovely large room. The bath nearly qualifies as a swimming pool.

Staff were terrific ! Polite and attentive.
Although everything was perfectly clean, there were areas that lacked attention. Bathroom floor didn't meat the skirting board and left a gap, (looking like the floor had dropped). Stain on bathroom ceiling looked really bad from a guests point of view. Sealant around part of shower was no longer there and just looked a bit neglected. The toilet roll holder wasn't secure, so the toilet roll slipped off when using it, just needed either tightened or resecured. I would just like to add, that everything that WAS in the room was exceptionally clean.
Travelling for work therefore the location was excellent as only a short drive in the morning, very central location and would be ideal to explore the surrounding area. Plenty of parking and a very easily accessible car park.
Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, very responsive to any questions that I had.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money
The room I was in could do with an update/upgrade however I believe this may be part of a plan by the owner. I think some more seating in the bar area would be beneficial.

Hotel needs TLC…. Bit run down and drab. Food was ok…. Early bird menu not available to residents! water takes ages to heat up
