An expectedly comfortable stay.
Pros:

We were in the Ty et suite which is a lovely large room. The bath nearly qualifies as a swimming pool.

Exceptional Food, Rooms Clean

Staff were terrific ! Polite and attentive.

Cons:

Although everything was perfectly clean, there were areas that lacked attention. Bathroom floor didn't meat the skirting board and left a gap, (looking like the floor had dropped). Stain on bathroom ceiling looked really bad from a guests point of view. Sealant around part of shower was no longer there and just looked a bit neglected. The toilet roll holder wasn't secure, so the toilet roll slipped off when using it, just needed either tightened or resecured. I would just like to add, that everything that WAS in the room was exceptionally clean.

Excellent stay whilst away with work, all members of staff were first class and fantastic food.
Pros:

Travelling for work therefore the location was excellent as only a short drive in the morning, very central location and would be ideal to explore the surrounding area. Plenty of parking and a very easily accessible car park.
Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, very responsive to any questions that I had.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money

Cons:

The room I was in could do with an update/upgrade however I believe this may be part of a plan by the owner. I think some more seating in the bar area would be beneficial.

Hotel very tired, needs money spent on it. Evening meal was OK, just not a huge choice.
Pros:

Staff were very good. Great location, quiet and out of the town.

Cons:

Bed was terrible in Room 5, I could feel the springs! Cold draught coming from the window although I didn't mind some cool air. My room was very 'tired' including the shower/toilet room. This used to be a really nice place to go for a good meal, although this was the first time I had actually stayed overnight and sadly will be my last!

Charming property with superb staff
Pros:

Really friendly and helpful staff and fascinating building. The breakfast was excellent, good choice and cooked to order.

Cons:

The room was lacking small things like a luggage stand and glasses in the bathroom. However the new owner is clearly working hard in upgrading everything so hopefully with pick up on these small details.

Great stay for business trip
Pros:

Location very convenient. Nice rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly hosts.

Cons:

Jacuzzi next door was very noisy and have disturb slightly. I will request different room on amother occasion whem booking... or take the one with jacuzzi!

An absolute gem
Pros:

Only stayed a couple of nights but so glad we chose the Mill House Hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely bathroom and the best shower I have ever experienced.
All staff were very professional and naturally friendly, with a lovely and cozy bar area with a good selection of draughts beers and spirits.
As for the food, incredible is the only description I can give. The breakfast was quite possibly the best I have had, superb selection and the quality was excellent.
We had one evening meal at the Mill House and again, supurb. We both had the mixed grill which was cooked to perfection, excellent quality meat and lovely presentation.
Do not hesitate about booking a stay here as you will not be disappointed, beautiful location, lovely staff, comfy bed and excellent food.
